It does not matter at all.  That just means that you have another weapon with LL injection created with Dank's script.  Those pex files are identical while the unique weapon info is in the .esp.

Gonna give this a try. Hopefully it'll drastically reduce the number of these weapons in the hands of NPCs. It always seemed reasonable to me that the primary users would be BOS knights and paladins in power armor, and then a far fewer number of examples captured from the BOS found in the hands of raiders, Gunners, and Minutemen in power armor, super mutants (but I don't think the rifle is compatible with them) and perhaps synths. Normal humans would not have the strength to fire it from shoulder (not effectively anyway) much less carry it around on foot day in and day out. But then again, NPC women can be seen roaming the commonwealth schlepping miniguns that look like they weigh more than them. So whatever I guess. Oh Bethesda, we can always count on you bringing the silly :/

Hey, i'm using America Rising 2 with the PTRS mod and your mod, and one of the main character of the mod (Colonel Whitehill) isn't equipping any weapon. Then I realized her weapon was in her inventory (it's a combat rifle) but it had a legendary effect from the PTRS mod and it's also listed as a chinese anti PA gun but it has the combat rifle skin.

I'm guessing the legendary effects mods from the PTRS mod are also affecting vanilla weapons in some way. Would it be possible for you to fix that as well ? I don't know if it's related to level lists.

Thanks for this mod anyway :) !

EDIT : The weapon in question is also a Unique, so my guess is that PTRS somehow messes with the unique weapons. It does mess with gauss rifles as well unless using your mod

EDIT 2 : Nevermind, this was fixed by starting a new game (so the PTRS fix could be applied properly), as usual u_u

Is it fine if I install it via Nexus Mod Manager or should I do manual?

Manual installation is a horrible idea.   Mods should be installed with a mod manager.
Old NMM should not be used either.  Only the New NMM from GitHub is valid.

hey 4estGimp i was wondering if this fixes the annoying magazine bug? where using the Quick Eject Ammo Box, Drum Magazine, Quick Eject Dual Drum Magazine, and Dual Drum Magazine(s) will break the guns making them invisible and unusable unless using the Powerful Rapid Automatic Receiver or the Advanced Rapid Automatic Receiver

Don't merge them.  Both of the files here are replacers for the main mod's .esp.  Just pick one version.

Now, if I could just get this rifle to work with  the Real Time Cover Penetration Framework mod I'd be happy...

I've tried several times to get it to work and each time I wound up having to reinstall the rifle mod because I broke it all to hell.

This seems to have really tamed the chaos....endorsed.

If you're feeling ambitious, these are two more that desperately need their leveled lists tweaked:

    Russian Assault Pack
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42283

    Ruger MKV
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30075

Both of those are about as common as pipe pistols. By the early teen levels every raider has a SVD and the Ruger shows up in almost every safe or locked container.

So are you saying you DON'T like walking through Boston and running into a Gunner vs BOS firefight where everyone has a PTRS and it sounds like a dozen cannons firing all at once? You DON'T like getting one shot killed by legendary raiders?

OK seriously this was long overdue. Having any mod weapon so common makes it seem like a cheat.

The manual leveled lists were wild.  Some of them had the PTRS with a 75% chance of spawning.  Laser guns, combat rifles, gauss rifles... so many weapons were pushed out.  Plus, several of the rifles could spawn at level 1.

Maybe.  I've just woken up in the middle of the night and not exactly alert yet.  I'll just say maybe.
