Is starting a New character the SAME thing as starting a New GAME? at level 155 I'm certainly NOT going to be starting a new character is that the same thing as starting a new game?
This is a fantastic idea, only just looked at it because of a clothing Item that I thought reminded me of a roller skating waitress outfit and then thought wouldn't it be cool if the atom cat faction was larger and more influential and an actual alternative to the minutemen (and BOS) with it's own quests and settlement building which would not make you top cat but make those settlement's atom cat territory with automatic atom cat guard assignment once you built a prefab atom cat base in them OR they were different and only based on site's with red rocket's or diners.
Why did Bethesda leave them so unfinished, why did they make Zeke it's founder and not tie them into the tunnel snakes of vault 101 with a backstory of some kind (and give them a hairdresser with a mini gun), well same old story Bethesda always leave loose end's, actually a great incentive to get people modding there work and prolonging it's shelf life long after other game's have died off.
But the Atom Cat's really should have been a real faction, mostly good guy's but more neutral than the minutemen and more concerned with there own agenda, perhaps even dealing's or an alliance with the railroad and a second trader hub at there garage, there own quest line and an active war with the gunner's who are after there ride's, perhaps a settlement other than Garvey's crew made up of other survivor's of Quincy living under there protection near there garage and explain why they are also helping out (Protecting) the sewage farm (Gack I can never remember what that one is called).
does this conflict with custom combat armors i have both mods but only see the paints for the atom cats combat armor that is why i think there is a problem.
Settlers should be working as of version 0.20. You can assign any settlers you attract with a signal or send there as normal. They can join supply lines, or be assigned to handle crops. I've even gotten radiant quests like "Clear the way for the Atom Cats Garage". Let me know if any of that doesn't fly for you.
As for a follower: Roxy doesn't seem to be a fighter, Rowdy and Bluejay are merchants, and Johnny D and Duke guard the place. That leaves the coolest cat Zeke! He'll need a quest and a perk too...
I'd love to make the eyebot Peepers into a follower too. ED-E was great in New Vegas.
Quincy would be an awesome quest if given by the Atom Cats. I'd really like to have regions and their own quest lines like the holds in Skyrim had. Hilariously enough, there are even references to Riften in the "Atom Cats Garage" location data.
How complicated is it to get settlers to work and is it possible to do it with other locations? I used the console last night to summon a workbench at the destroyed settlement at University Point but I can't get settlers to go there. Is there any way to do it?

I couldn't believe that the Atom Cats weren't made a major faction in the first place.
Imagine being able to bring Duke and the rest to Quincy to clear out those bad cats.
