I thinkk what author tried to do was replace one raider for clover. I've seen other modders put "initially disabled" to remove things rather than "delete." I heard from others that deleting with console commands may cause problems cause the game may be looking for deleted items and if it can't find them...crash. Disabling items keeps them existing in the game so that the game can find them if it needs them. I don't understand how Clover affects Cait though. She has worked normal in my game. I guess it's fixed whatever people were talking about. Edit: Just removed that change made to that one raider as you mentioned. Removed it completely. Clover will just appear next to him in game.
Thanks for the update. How unfortunate though. I will give the Butch, Jericho and Clover mods a try however. They look pretty true to the original Fallout 3 companions.
I know your not working on this version of the mod at the moment but is there a way to send her to a specific settlement instead of back to the combat zone every time?
Just checking in before downloading - is the "issue" (or issues lol) with Cait fixed? I haven't entered the combat zone in this playthrough yet and a previous comment about her being irrevocably broken has made me a bit weary...
EDIT: just letting you know the separate voice files are packaged incorrectly, so they can't be installed with a mod organiser - nothing major tho! The path should be data\sound\voice\fallout3companions-clover.esp - then all of the voice files it contains. but the fallout3companions-clover.esp folder is located outside of "voice" and is instead alongside "sound" :)
just writing that in case anyone else had trouble <3
so this broke cait i been looking all over to see what broke it weird how it stayed broken even after turning off this mod and starting a new game atleast i know the cause now haha
I installed it and cait completely disappeared and wouldn't work properly any help would be great as clover is my fav companion from fo3 and saddens me that the game has issues with this mod
Yeah, it affected my Cait as well. I have a custom face and it reverted to her vanilla face. Loading it after clover fixed that. But I also found it affected the quest confidence man for some reason. When you go talk to Travis at the radio station to go save Vadim, clover answers instead of Travis. You can't continue the quest because she answers instead of Travis. I unfortunately had to remove her.

EDIT :: I don't know why but removing modified ID(Cell > Placed NPC : Rule Breaker Raider one) makes CTD gone..
