I may do a reimagining of these modification packs using the new stuff I've picked up, so those may go to Xbox, these old ones? most likely not, mostly because I would rather make a more quality package than these old ones, however I do allow ports of any of my mods as long as I'm credited, so if you or someone else wants this on Xbox then you're all good to do so.
if it shares the same modifications with the .44 pistol, cause all I did is add mods to the .44. If the dual ones use a different keyword for modifications than the vanilla .44 then it won't work.
Problem with revolvers is you can't just remove the barrel and add in a different caliber. S&W Model 29 is a .44. It can fire .44 Magnum and .44 Special. Colt Python is a .357. It can fire .357 Magnum and .38 Special. Colt SAA is a .45 Colt. It can fire .45 Colt, and if you are crazy like Dick Casull (great innovator that pushed the boundaries) , you push the boundaries and blow up a few of them to get it to fire .454 Casull out of that same barrel.....
Edit: My point is you don't take a Colt SAA in .22LR and swap the barrel to make it a .45 Colt. They are two totally different handguns.
hate to say it but Fallout isn't a logical game to begin with, this is a game where a rifle uses a .308 magazine for .45 caliber, also this mod is from when I didn't have any experience at all with making models and stuff, so yeah I didn't end up changing the model to fit the calibers
Just a small thing, but the use of the western revolver barrel mesh and textures makes any weapon skins look weird on it because the textures are't set up for it, perhaps if you come back around to these once you're done you could make the long barrel use the standard barrel texture, or something like that? Anyway, you're doing great, I love the new hunting rifle mods!
I'll make a fix for that during the resweep phase, which is when I finish going down the wiki I'm going back to all these and adding and/or changing things
love this but if you ever feel like a update adding a fireing pin to the hammer would be fantastic
for those not in the know when Betheda was looking up reference images or were studying a 44 revolver to make the pistol they were looking that was missing the fireing pin which is why the hammer has that slot in it because that is where the pin goes
A remesh could be in the future, there's a good chance I will know how to edit models like that after I go back and update this mod when I finish the Wiki list project
