This just looks amazing. I also did take a peek peek at your video and will check out your other mods as well. SS2 just rocks.

I'm coming back to FO4 after a long hiatus (there was no SS2 chapter 2, let alone 3 last I played) and saw your add-on is the most recent I'm seeing. Do you happen to know if the new chapter 3 causes any incompatibilities? And not just for yours, but generally? I have no idea how the sausage is made so I don't even know what does and doesn't break stuff.

Thanks for an essential SS2 mod! Is the new v2.1 safe to upgrade to from 2.0 on an existing save?

      Yes it is !
You might just want to refresh some old plots when you see them to have the fixes took in consideration by the game :)

If you are near your limit of BA2 archive (wich is random) you can use loose files wich will allow you to not have to deal with the BA2 archive limit :)
Ofc this only happen once you have a LOT of mods.

thanks So Very Much. my big issue now is the mod limit. i'm at 254 and like to stay under 250. and i still have 'need'  of at least a half dozen more. when Skyrim came out i tried learning to use things like wyre bash to combine mods and how to change mods to esl's.
but like, i got old and brain damaged so that stuff don't stick no more. so i just keep replaying these games with different mods searching for the Perfect Load. (probably a guy thing)

This one embodies alot of what i would like to see in sim settlements series. building up to a great place. not starting out with a brick building at tenpines. how anyone lugged an entire brick building is beyond me. but slowly building up to something like this is good.

Fell in love with the bus stop houses, finally something more sturdy and less drafty, just perfect.
One question though, unless I am missing something/messed up something, level 1 bus stop house does not spawn any beds for me.
The comment below mentioned something about a sleeping bag, but I don't see it anywhere, so just checking - what should happen at level 1?

Also I just downloaded your Far Harbor pack, will try it out tomorrow but judging from the screenshots it looks really good!

One humble suggestion if I may, would it purely theoretically be possible to make a hunter cabin kind of plot that would provide food?
Perhaps an industrial or commercial one as well like a butchers shop (I can see a tannery happening there too in theory which you seem to be working on already as per the description of the Far Harbor addon), so maybe...

I mean, Fallout world is full of game, roaming radstags, brahmin, or even mole rats/mongrels/mutant hounds so it is kinda weird a settlement would pass on the opportunity to go hunting to provide food for the population. Now with your chicken coop and rabbit thingy there is more variety (also picked up a mod that adds a fish farm, but since parts of it are broken e.g. beds not registering in residential plots not sure if that mod will stay in my load order) so happy about that too btw!

    What do you think?

Aw ! Thanks for the Bus Stop. It's also my favorite in this mod, it's pretty much the Bus Stop that gave me the main idea of Rags & Riches. The level 3 is really comfy. For the sleeping bag mentionned below, it's spawned during the construction stage to replace the (temporarly) missing beds, so if you play with "realistic construction times" it does matter. If you play with "normal" build times, it will barely impact you because the construction stage wouldn't last more than a minute. I didn't reproduced the bug mentionned below where it pop at level 0 (because it's not supposed to pop at that stage), but i'm still looking into it.

So far at level 1 there is actually a bed marker that is invisible : basically the settler is actually sleep on the top shelf (the part that becomes a library / shelf at level 2 / 3 ). Yes, that's not a comfortable "bed", but that's pretty much the point of "Level 1" of the bus stop.  :)

For the hunting cabin, were you suggesting adding one for the Far Harbor add-on ? I do have something like that in my "future plots notebook" hehe.  After all, there is a lot of wildlife on the island to hunt ! And yes, a tannery is definitely going to be a thing for the Far Harbor Add-ON (there is so many assets related to that , it would be such a waste to not make a plot about that :) ). Was thinking about adding an aquarium that would hold captive fishs, but i will have some things to learn about animation and water to actually have a satisfying plot with water in it and fish that are actually moving. :)

Do you still have the name of the mod that has a fish farm ?  I'm pretty sure i saw it before but sadly i can't remember the name.

      Thank you for the reply!

Same here, I really like your mod but yeah, as said, the bus stop won my heart in an instant. :D

Ooooooh I see! So the bed marker is invisible, hence no obvious bed in level 1. I might need to do a bit of late night sneaking up on my settlers to check because I thought that it was just a problem on my side but it's working as designed then! Thanks for that!

The hunting cabin would be a welcome addition in either version, but it would make much more sense in the Far Harbor add-on, plus if you do go for a tannery plot as well, it would be an awesome combo. Perhaps something like lvl 1 = trapping only (small game) lvl 2 bigger game (radstags etc) lvl 3 apex game (Yao Guai?)

Aquarium sounds quite complicated, but also very fun! I think it would be quite a welcome addition!

Right, the mod I mentioned is called Sim Homestead 2, if I understand it correctly it is a port from SS1 but it seems some of the SS2 plot functionality either bugged out or was never implemented during the transition.
It does have the fish farm though, and also a butcher shop but if I may be entirely honest I have not tried the butcher shop yet since per the mod description it is still 0.5 beta, hasn't been touched since early 2021 and it says in description that custom vendors are not implemented yet...

Not sure how much use it will be, but perhaps for inspiration:

Anyway, I am off to install the Far Harbor addon and give it a whirl, looking forward to it!

HEy, These are very nice plots! BUUT one small bug seems to happen with one of the residential plots. The one which is made in the bus stop as a base: In it's 0 lvl it adds a sleeping back OUTside of the bus stop and settlers tend to use this one instead of the inside bed and the sleeping back stays there all the way to max lvl :s

Well and another bug is that the residential plot which has the forklift crane in it has a bug in its starting lvls which seems to go away on higher lvls but anyway the bug is  that most of those items and clutter the plot adds "multiply" if you move or refresh the plot so there ends up being multiple stuff like the wooden gate (door) to the plot seems to multiply
