Could be just my stuff, entirely on me, and my fault. But for some reason this mod is starring quite a bit in my crash logs.

real shame as I like both of these mods.

i dont think this mod is up to date enough, there were many changes lately in the hunter of the commonwealth mod updates

There's nothing broken about it. It's mostly just a LL change and disables the DA hunting kit.

Hey, is this mod still working because I can seem to get it to work.  The options to harvest is not visible despite having all three mods installed.  Is there a step I'm missing because I love both mods but can't stand the hunting kits.

Update: no worries got is working, my damn keybind was assigned to a damn key which is barely working.

What load order do you have the 3 mods in? Everything seems to be working except I'm getting zero meat. I'm able to harvest other items like bone, and dismember, dispose etc.
Edit: After testing some more it seems there's only a problem with ragstags, everything else works normally. I can work around it by skinning them first before butchering apparently.

Does this fix the bug with DA hunting kits in that if you spam the spacebar when harvesting you can get infinite hides and meat?

This removes the Hunting Kits altogether, so would solve the issue, I guess?

No s#*!, I literally just made that mod and was gonna upload myself! Lol
But, I also made meat / hides drop must less frequently to retain some level of difficulty

I agree that HOTC meat drops are super high. That's why I included the MCM settings to minimalise them... you will still get 10 meat from deathclaws and yao gais at the top Hunter level, though. Nothing I can do to fix that, as I'm not well-versed in scripting.

I just manually went thru every creature and changed their normal drops on everything to chance none 50-75.

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make the vault 111 tutorial always have the 10mil pistol and the stimpaks appear.  Right now they only appear very rarely.  I even got fed up and just deleted everything that DA touches in vault 111.  It didn't change anything.  I'm lost at this point.

About to try loading a new game with DA disabled entirely but it probably won't work because the universe.

I tried editing the chance none myself, but all that meant was that sometimes I got no meat and sometimes I got 10. Which does help the overall meat I'm collecting, but doesn't resolve the issue with too much meat on one animal.

Yeah, i mean, that's how dice rolls work bro lol.  But you shouldn't be getting 10, sounds like you had accidentally made the count higher or some other mod was editing it.  You also can't just take the chance none as a catch-all.  There's also level to consider.  I'm not 100% on this, but I think that if your character level is over the level of the item, it rolls for the loot more and more times the higher you are above it.

I set all the animal meat drops to chancenone 50-75% regardless, and sometimes when molerat packs jump out, every single one of them has at least 1 meat.  Sometimes they're all barren.  It's more of a thing you notice over time.  I have run out of meat before, but its not like there isn't wild fruit growing all over the place.  And since no fast travel in HC mode (the only mode worth playing) you're bound to shoot a deer or 3 on the way between waypoints because you're a sick animal murdering freak.   :D

The truegod way I suppose would be to set them all to 90% chance none.  Now them dirty bananas you found growing on the toxic waste pond be lookin' mighty appetizin'

oh, it's better than a broken hunting kit where if you just mash the spacebar a whole lot and have a single hunting kit then you can spawn 1000000000 hides, teeth, and meat on a single carcass.

MrBaloneyPony, thanks for commenting on this! I managed to set all my chances to 90-75-50 (depending on creature size, i imagine that radroach i just smashed would only have a 90% chance of having any eddible meat)

However im trying to see if i can do the same thing for Mutant Menagerie. Is it just as simple as going to the leveled item lists and changing the chances there as well? Or is there some script chicanery going on that my FO4edit peasent brain cant comprehend?

Nope, no scripting.  It's as simple as diddling the leveled lists.

Thank you! This had been bothering me for a bit, but I wasn't smart enough to patch myself :-(
    Your work is much appreciated!
