so i want to use this with the subversion mod, which in that mod it allows you to unite all factions under a single banner, kind of, and i was hoping i could use all the paints, but i noticed you can only choose one file.
I mean, you're able to use more than one file at a time. You're just limited to one color version per faction. You can still use, say, Institute White, Railroad Gold, and Minuteman Blue all at the same time. Just not multiple versions of the *same* faction color at once.
oh ok, well right on, thanks for replying. i used this same question for Kingath's sim settlements 2 mod, as he had an option to use your allies in the fight against the gunners and it turns out you can use all of your allies funny enough, it was difficult to make happen though.
could you make a version that uses Laurent's robot skins (i personally prefer the paints from that mod not that the ones in the mod used by this are bad mind you it's just a personal preference that i feel like at least a few others have)
I will absolutely use this mod, as I love YAWA, but I do have an unrelated problem which I wonder if you know anything about; having installed YAWA(BITOF) after completing tradecraft, no railroad patrollers would ever appear, no matter the settings I selected. I know it's unlikely but since you've fixed the faction alignment i wondered if you knew anything.
As for your issue, I don't really know what could be wrong. While testing this mod I completed Tradecraft through the console (Looked up the quest stages online and advanced through it stage by stage with the "setstage" command) and the railroad patrols did spawn. Do you maybe have any mods affecting the railroad quests, or Tradecraft in particular? Also, have you checked if the patrols spawn with the required resources (Village, Town, City, Industrial Center) set to none? I chose that setting to test this mod.
Yeah in my game everything is set to none for maximum impact but despite that I only have minutemen and railroad selected, set to heavy patrols, i never have never seen them. It may have something to do with having completed tradecraft before installing, because otherwise I don't have any mods which effect the railroad at all (as far as I know, although I do have other bugs which "shouldn't" be happening, so i wouldn't be surprised if it was a conflict with something innocuous)
Otherwise, this mod is fantastic, and really solves the confusion of seeing a patrolling assaultron in the wild, since gunners don't paint them blue. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to combine these mods. Well done!
