Having said that, there are a few things that must be said.
This mod is not for everyone. For some, no doubt the recoil may be a bit much or perhaps the camera movement is uncomfortable. And such people, I'm afraid I can't help. This weapon, like all I make, is replicated from Battlefield to the best of my ability and is made to a very specific style and taste. As such, it is out of the question for me to change anything design-wise. Unless you feel that something is not working as intended, your constructive criticism is pointless. I know it sounds harsh, but many of my modder friends have endured enough. Comment sections of late have been getting out of hand, and though I've largely been spared, others have been treated too callously for their thankless service to the community.

Thank you for your consideration and enjoy the mod.
P.S. I'm thinking of making another Hunting Rifle set to replace the old one. This time, made after BF4.
first you press whatever button opens the console in your language (refer to here: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Fallout_4_console_commands#Overview)
then type in "help peacekeeper 4 weap" without the ""
after that type in "player.additem x" (x is the ID that the console gives you, again without the quotation marks)
Request to add an option to rechamber to 44. magnum. The Colt Action Army can be chambered in 38 Colt and .44 Special IRL. While there is no .44 Special in-game there is .44 magnum...
Hey, have you thought about making a patch for Bullet Counted Reload System (BCR)? Because you load the bullets in one at a time, it could fix the problem of always reloading 3 bullets at a time if you reload when you're not empty.
I think that 3 rd partial reload is a compromise to not having any partial reload - since it requires Tactical Reload. What he did with the Kar98k was magic. Both BCR and Tactical Reload functioning together - exactly as intended.
Use Perchik71's In-Game Mod Explorer mod. You will never have to type in a console command again to put an Armor, Weapon or Miscellanous item (aka a Pre-War Binoculars) into your game. It's a godsend to testing things - because with weapons you can also add the ammo they fire. Want the mods without having to have the perks? Easy, just select them from the inventory window.
Only issue you will find is that a few (a small few) mods will add an OMOD that leverages a Base Game Misc item. In that case you have to use the console to add that item - whether it be a NV Scope or whatever.
Why on earth Battlefield decided to have Equip animations that take precious time from putting the weapon into action is beyond me. Got no issue with the Unequip animations - you aren't trying to shoot at anything when you are holstering it..... Maybe I'm old skool or something - but you draw a weapon to fire it - not to play with it. Like the NPC's are going to be impressed or something - or worse - actually wait until you are done playing with your toy to fire at you.....
That said it's a pretty simple fix to remove the Equip animations and have it quick draw like any Colt SAA would be expected to. Again, got no issues with grandiose holstering animations - in fact would love one where you kiss the smoke off the barrel before holstering it.....
For some reason I cant reload the gun unless i empty the clip, is there a way to fix it? I've installed all the recommended mods on your description page. (Also unlimited sprint does not work for some reason)
I am having the same problem as well. Ive got tactical reload, which worked in the past on my pc, but now with my lappy install, i can only reload if i empty the cylander. 3 shot reload isnt working.
This is a problem I also have. I am only able to reload while in third person. I've tried many things to fix tactical reload, but it just doesn't want to work with me.
For those who cant find it from console, thats because if you download with Vortex like me, the file wont move to Fallout4 Data folder for some reason. So you should copy the files from Vortex mod file to the fallout4 data file. Or you can reinstall the mod which should also work
I can't tell if it's just user error here, but I only seem to get 2 different reloads when I run the TR version of this mod. One when it's empty, where my character unload all 6 cylinders then reload all 6, and one when it's at anything from 5 rounds to 1 round left, where my character moves the cylinder over 3, then unloads and reload 3. Those are the only 2 variations I'm getting.
I have tried both normal tactical reload, as well as the manual reload version for it, and neither have allowed me to revel in the gloriousness that is 6 different reloads from this single weapon. I have see through scopes, however, I have the tactical reload/see through scopes patch from the tactical reload mod page, so I don't think that's the issue.
I'm at a loss here, and I'd like to have this weapon working properly, if at all possible. I've used LOOT to sort my plugins, and I use MO2 as my modding tool of choice.
It would have taken you two minutes to read the description.
Unfortunately, only two reloads are possible at a time (which is already miles better than the vanilla one reload), which means the full reload will replace three rounds every time, while the empty reload will of course replace all six.

I am having same problem and I do not see any MCM options for TR :(
