A box of .45-70 Govt weighs about 2lbs, for 20 rounds. This is heavy for a reason, it's got MASSIVE stopping power at close range. A box of .308 Match Grade ammo barely weighs more than 1/2 of the .45-70. FO76 thinks .308 should weigh more than .45-70. Really?
In my game (and I use a .45-70 Revolver on occasion) I carry 5 rounds (what the revolver holds). I don't need any more than that - literally. If I do, I'm the one who is doing something seriously wrong (like walking into a Yao Guai convention).
Added: You do realize FO76 thinks a .308 round should weigh MORE than a .50 BMG round right?
You do realize nobody forces you to use that mod, right? It's obviously not made to be the utmost realistic but to suit the creator's tastes, and whoever else would like to.
Just tried a Nuka-Nuke, and it weighs as much as a Mini-Nuke, so the mod seem to be working. I had to use the console to give myself a Nuka-Nuke, though, since I'm nowhere near Nuka-World; I'm not sure if those you pick up in Bradberton's Office are the same.
