    I just tried this mod out to test it real quick. Since theres no pics or videos I have some questions. Do they work in or near settlements? Do they actually show the creature caught or we use our imagination type deal? I set down the 2 traps and the 2 bear traps behind Red Rocket. Fast traveled the map to test some other things, waited hours and came back. 

    The 2 bear traps where closed. Small animal trap had nothing. And the large trap was gone. But no creatures were around. Idk if its working or not

      I've been using it with the updated "Life Finds a Way" edition, and it seems to work, though there might be an issue with mutant Ant/Bee swarms causing a crash.

    Okay hear me out. Is there a way to merge this and your fishing mod to be able to greate fish traps in the water using bloatfly bait? Something with a moderately high chance of failure to balance out the lazy fisherman?

      Too much? I still gotta point out that you're my favorite modder, anything you make almost always has to go in my load order! So creative and fun

      Not too much, just thinking...  my fishing mod can already detect water, but it does it via manually input properties.  It would just mean copying those properties over, which would be a bit of an undertaking.  Still, worth considering...

    Great idea. I was thinking of this idea recently too, must be something in the ethers, haha. I have no idea how to do this, I'm thankful you made it. 

    I'm making a patch for Horizon. It's basically done, just have to test things out a little more. I'm balancing it out for Horizon sensibilities, proper tags, and workbench crafting

    Is the large trap a proper leg hold trap?

      I tried, but couldn't get it to work.  I had to settle for simulating it with a leg injury.

      Should be safe to add or remove mid-playthrough.  Doesn't use any custom creatures, all vanilla.
