I dont understand how anyone can play this game without this mod, maybe its just because I play with MAIM and TRUE DAMAGE, but companion WONT STOP killing themselves charging into enemies, much stronger ones at that
Do you mean the dog automatically opens every door it sees? It's probably because the latest version adds a new faction tag (i.e. Captive Faction) to him, which changes his behavior too. So I suggest you use the old version (v1.0).
It's always been a thing he does - I couldn't find the relevant "flag" in FO4Edit (probably still one of those "unknown variables"...), but I'm hoping it's as simple a fix as it would have been for Skyrim (a flag called "Can Use", i.e. - how they turned it off for Werewolves).
Hello, I'm still using this mod and was wondering if there was a version coming out where dogmeat didn't attack enemies in a [caution] state. Dogmeat's fine if I stay completely hidden, but as soon as the enemy gets a whiff of me, he goes berserk.

Dogmeat is the only one I could not stand getting hurt.
So yes please: Make Dogmeat stop opening doors!
