"I love glowing stuff, glowing stuff makes me happy. And itchy. So seeing Experiment NRT-0001 for the first time aboard the Prydwen, the slight iridescent shimmer caught my eye and I immediately fell in love. I needed that plant."
"I waited until it was my shift to go on patrol, 'borrowed' all of the specimens for... research, and left. I'm sure Proctor Quinlan would understand, it is for science after all. Not that I can ever go back, especially after I sold that power armor...."
"After much delicate research - mainly involving a lot of Jet, and dunking the plants in Nuka-Cola quantum - I have finally done it, the plants glow!"
"Nothing else, they just glow now."
"Don't do Jet."

Experiment NRT-0001 has a glowmap by default but it was a solid mask and emittance was disabled.
I edited the glowmap and enabled emittance to have it dimly glow where the vanilla texture is most reflective.
