Nice work, I was hoping someone would make an edit like this. I totally get if not but any chance of a version that does away completely with the cheat chest and adding it to the Brotherhood leveled lists (Teagan + the soldiers)? It being craftable only wouldn't exactly be lore friendly but would help *a lot* with compatibility issues.
There's a optional file already available in the files tab to change the contents of the cheat chest (I didn't want to remove it entirely juust in case) to instead have a few chems, some leather armor pieces, and some ammo - I too didn't like having it right there so early in the game.
For having BoS members wearing it, there's a file here from Whobbs1 that will have any BoS members who are not in Power Armor and not a scribe wear it.
I actually meant removing it from all BOS leveled lists entirely, I can only imagine how dirty the edits are from a 2016 mod and the old method of injecting items. Making it craftable only would make it compatible with a lot of modern mods that also edit the Brotherhood's lists.
Interesting. I never took a close look at it personally, a lot of old mods made an absolute mess out of their leveled lists so I just assumed it did too. Regardless, thanks again, I'll definitely be putting this to use.
