I CANNOT thank you enough. I really dislike making settlements. So this is a life saver. I was worried, because i use a mod that add/replace trees (another pine forest). I love it because it adds fog and a lot of trees. makes it really interesting visually and atmospheric. I was worried because you often say to scrap all the trees. And that mod like to add pine trees where there was already one. I was worried i would not be able to use your blueprint or transfer settlements because of that. But i can confirm that this settlement worked with that mod. there is only 1 tree that clip. and frankly, its a small price to pay. I don't even care at this point. BUT, i did manually scrap everything. Time to go do sanctuary...again...for the 100th time. lol

If the siren is activated the gate is supposed to close right? I stored both the NAND gate and the switch and placed them again. I then connected the siren and a power conduit to the red part of the NAND gate and the switch and a power conduit to the grey part. both parts of the NAND gate were green and the switch was connected to the gate but when I activated the siren the gate didn't close. I also saw an open part in the back of the farm part, is that supposed to be there?

Sounds like something isn't connected right, the siren doesn't need to be stored just the gate, It might be you're not connected the siren properly? It needs to have a live connection and also be connected to the positive side of the gate, the neg side of the NAND goes to the gate. The NAND also has to have a live feeding the positive side as well.

"and a power conduit to the grey part"
No power to the negative side of the gate, it's output only. The power needs to be connected to the red input side only of the NAND.

I don't recall leaving an opening in the fence on that settlement but if I did than I would have put a jump over fence around the outside as a failsafe if you're ever locked out of the settlement.

Should have edited my comment but I figured out I hadn't selected all the options correctly so afterwards it worked fine. I was also able to get the gate working fine.

After I built it and went to save those in the museum. As I was coming back I went under the bus heading back to santuary and got hung up. couldn't go under it unless I jumped forward. couldn't see anything there so wasn't sure. had to jump over what ever it was to get out the other side of the pass the scaffolds. Should I have waited longer before going around there? Edit: it straightened out what ever was the problem.

I use place everywhere and if memory servers me right I had nudged the scaffolds down into the ground, I just remember moving them so they weren't blocking, so maybe the glitched some how or another, glad you got it straightened out.

Love your blueprints, can't wait to see if you touch Murkwater, because no one really does a lore friendly build for that local for some reason

Thank you, although  I didn't have Murkwater on my todo list, it's a small enough settlement that I can add.   I'm currently working on Sanctuary and will move to Jamaica  next.

This is really cool! I don't know why I haven't spotted your blueprints until now. I'm starting a new game so will try this soon. :)
