Last year when I played, I used a mod that had one of those little blue electrical boxes (with the flip switch). It generated it own power and powered everything, wired or not. I could slap one on the side of a building, bada-bing! Wireless energy. There were a few exceptions, like the Settler Beacon for example had to run a wire for that. Fast forward a year and I decided to play again. Now I can't remember the name of this mod to save my life. Does anyone else remember the mod??? I tried that Wireless C mod but it was borking up my Disco Ball (it would light up but wouldn't rotate).
Is it possible that you can no longer set anything on terminals with the wireless switches? Can anyone confirm this? Or is this a bug with the terminals?
This post is intended for the author of this mod. Idk if this mod is still being supported but is it possible to add another wireless switch with less range or even better... one that has an in game player customizable range? This would certainly solve my wiring issues in my wife's hybrid apartment and condo complex but the range is too much. I want to put a switch in each apartment/room to independently operate lights in various apartments and/or rooms without having to wire them or seeing any wires
Would you be acquiesce to my request? I know it's nearly 2 years after you created this mod but this would make this mod even better imo.
Just in case, if this mod is not as I expected, is it safe to uninstall after just scrapping the objects from this mod? There are mods that break the workshop when uninstalled "incorrectly", so I just want to be sure before installing.
Let me chime in here. It's not safe to remove any mod at all... ever, during a play through. You'll eventually corrupt your save game files and end up having to start over. Once you start your game, you can not remove mods. Period.
For some reason, the Wireless Transmitter is not transmitting power when I hook it up to a generator. Devices hooked up to a Receiver are not getting any power whatsoever.
Is there something I can do to fix this, or is there a greater-scope issue at play?
Hi, it worked for me when I first installed it. No more cables great! But when I started the game the next day the switches didnt get power anymore. I reinstalled the mod and f4ze, rebuild all switches and eventually it worked again, but now I have the same problem and reinstalling didnt help this time. I read here in the comments that someone had the same problem and also got the message "no wire attached!" when placing a switch. Solution 1: moving ObjectReference.pex did nothing. Solution 2: Distance is not the problem, because when I place a switch directly next to the Transmitter it also has no power. I need help. I don't want to use cables. :(
the Auto-wired is not working for me, I have all dlc and F4SE
edit: so I as far as I understand it's working on some objects that the mod modified because I see an auto wiring pylon but I was placing street lights and auto wiring wasn't working on them.
