Thank you so much for this! Such a simple little mod, but such a major improvement. I can't tell you the sheer number of times I went to save the game, the cursor was in the wrong place, and I ended up with a sign-in prompt to Bethesda.net. Especially with McM installed that second "Mods" entry can be pretty confusing sometimes.
The nice thing is that you can back up your CC mods onto your hard drive if you want to keep using them and install them as regular mods via your favorite mod manager. Just ZIP the files up and install them like you would any other mod, and you're ready to go. Just no stupid accidental sign-in prompt or news junk at the top of the main menu anymore.
You can downgrade, you know? And the CC are only a couple of files you can delete. They're essentially just regular (or in this case really shitty) mods that Bethesda shoves down your throat.
Same here. Creation Club is still on the main menu, but it's grayed out and can't be selected. This got rid of the warning in the top right about not being updated though, so that's some good.
You can't be serious. THIS FIXED MY CTD ON THE MAIN MENU! I couldnt for the life think of why it would instantly crash to desktop when I "pressed any key" no matter how long I waited. This little change in the custom.ini fixed it. I'll download so I can endorse later, you are a lifesaver.
