Can't get it working. What do you mean by "replace the esl file?" The original esl gets unchecked by mo2 automatically and your patch does remove the missing master warning, but it still isn't working. Do I have to manually copy your file into the original's mod folder?
I spent several minutes checking the unfinished houses in west everett and nothing I tried made the magazine or generators appear. I also used the console to search for them. I tried replacing the esl file with your esp and it still wouldn't appear. Found a mod in my load order that created several settlement locations (Shadow Wastelands Old World Plkaces) and thought it might be conflict, but disabling that mod didn't help.
Still can't get this to work in VR. I have tried installing this a few times months ago and was excited to see this update, I tried installing original again then the update VR both through M02, that didn't work so I deleted .esl original file and replaced with .esp VR file and still nothing. I typed "help construction" in console and only shows cambridge construction barriers. Don't see magazine anywhere in unfished houses or crates. I have alot of mod's but none I can see conflicting with this mod.
i just checked the plugin i uploaded. I realised it has the wrong version header. Thats not a problem in my game since i use: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42497 i consider this one mandatory for VR, otherwise you would have to change the versionheader for any mod that has it wrong, not just this one. If you want to change it by hand, open in xedit, click the plugin itself there is version header. change from 1.0 to 9.5. Will upload an updated version today.
Thanks for following up on my post. I downloaded the version check patcher and now it works perfectly. I never hear/saw that mod before thank you for sharing the link. Thanks again and great job on your mod!

Also how did you test the mod? The items don't show up in the build menu until you have the magazine (see original mod page)
Will upload an updated version today.
