There is limited support in first person and even more limited support for third.
The problem with Power Armour is it just requires a lot more work for any weapon to fix all the issues in both first and third person for something a minority of players use, this is especially the case when it comes to weapons that make use of an extended skeleton like the PKM does.
The weapon can be reloaded and fired in third person but it does not look correct, unless someone else really wants to come along and fix this then it will remain that way.
Settler/Companion Crashing
Figured it out!
The process of removing the reload sounds from the NPC animations seems to have caused the crashing issues, so I've reverted that change so unfortunately you will hear NPCs reloading from a bit too far away but at least you won't crash when giving it to a settler/companion.
Why does this gun have an exclamation mark before its name in the chem station? Does anyone know how to delete that via XEdit? I'm afraid I would mess up the gun by accident.
Having an issue where when I hit the "install" button in Mod Organizer, it comes up with an error saying "None of the available installer plugins were able to handle that archive. This is likely due to a corrupted or incompatible download or unrecognized archive format". Also, I tried to install the 4k version. Not sure if that info would change anything
You really gotta mention on the front page this conflicts with custom skeletons. Many people use ZeX or other for many reasons and this is basically unusable for anyone who plays third person. So I now have a weapon injected in my LL that I can't use. Please consider making a version that doesn't affect skeleton, idc if the animations are worse.
i would put this as a bug report but bug reports arent allowed on the mod but for some reason with this mod installed the distance of thrown weapons is shortened in third person and first person when the weapon is holstered and the distance is nearly zero when in third person and first person with the weapon drawn
Thank you for the great mod Nova, I'm really glad to have PKM in my game as it's one of my favorite machine guns, it's gun that packs punch and looks like it too. Perfect for shredding enemies on high caliber feeling like you're obligated to yell something cheesy every time you shoot with it like "get some". True weapon of mass destruction.
However I would like to ask generally from weapon mod makers around Nexus please include some photos of first person view with the weapons so we can see what they looks like on our hands making it easier to know if we want the mod or not, and also include comparison photos of 2K and 4K versions making it easier to choose which of the 2 you want to load.
