I actually went ahead and made a new save with only two mods loaded. MCM, and this mod.

It doesn't seem to do anything.

Adding this reply for anybody else reading the posts - this issue has been resolved. It seems to be a limitation with MCM in what you can set as a hotkey. I've tested it with regular keyboard letters and they work fine.

Here, the mcm part do not work despite I set the N key. I continue to have R to push and uniquely if I deactivate Quicktrade before with my U key.

Have you turned the hotkey functionality on? (The option should be just above setting the hotkey in MCM). If this is not selected, the hotkey won't do anything (all the other options for hotkey and aid item are hidden until you turn it on, but you can't hide setting a hotkey)

This was the bug I reported, same issue on my end. I have screenshots, I'll post them in the bug section.

I think this person might not have had it enabled given his description.

Is the original mod needed? Or can we just install this alone if we never used the original?

Nope, the original mod is not needed. The entire original mod is contained in this one.

This ones files have the same names as the original mod, you can just replace those files. It should be fine to do this in the middle of a playthrough.
