What is needed I think is to also change the crosshair position. Obviously with correct bullet direction accordingly to the new crosshair position. Ideally that must be automatic with a crosshair following the barrel orientation

For anyone having issues with this on the Steam Deck I found a messy way to get settings to stick, but it involves repeatedly saving and loading profiles. I couldn't get any settings to actually take effect otherwise though, not even after copying my entire working install from my desktop. But it's working with this method even if it's a bit convoluted.

First make your adjustments to any profile and save it.
Select a different profile number and save those adjustments again.
Load the second profile you just saved and close MCM.
If you're lucky, the settings took. If not, reopen MCM and load the 1st profile.
If the settings still don't take, add a third profile to the mix. (ie, edit profile 1, save to profile 2, load profile 2, close MCM, open MCM save to profile 3, load 3, 2, or 1 since they should all be the same, though profile 1 has never worked properly for me on SD.)
Rinse repeat every time you need to adjust a setting.

for some reason this mod is causing me to experience blobs of colors like being on acid or when a whole wall is missing and you look into the void. happens a few seconds after loading into the game (current new version) and on the top left says Auto FPS Off when it happens. didnt happen on the previous version when i last played but figured id ask to see anyone else is experiencing this. maybe a lack of MCM being updated

any idea why? ive disabled and re enabled mods mods and found this to be causing it. usually a world retexture mod causes that for me.

I'm having one issue.  Whenever I load a savegame, standard - basic - minimum distance resets to zero.  No other settings change, just the min dist.  Essentially, I'm locked into 1st person, without actually being in 1st person.    So each time I load a save, I have to change the distance in MCM.

Custom Camera had the same issue; I swapped to this in an attempt to address it.  What am I doing wrong?
Loading a profile dosen't fix it.
    Nor does fast travel.
    Player.moveto player, nothing.
Jumping in and out of power armor, nope.

Some assistance would be greatly appreceated.

Maybe a little late, I removed the fallout4.ini fallout4custom.ini fallout4prefs.ini in mo2 and fixed the issue for the time being

What do you mean yo removed those 3 ini files?
      You deleted the files?
      A entry in each one?

And it seems like actually deleting the files would not work, as Fallout recreates those files if they are missing.

Since Fallout needs thoes files, one must assume he means a specific line or lines from each one.  More data, please.

Turns out it's the vanity camera distance that's the culprit.  fVanityCamDist I believe, in the game ini's.

would it be possible for a version where we can set key binds in an .ini file rather then MCM, so we can bind controller keys? like the way uneducated shooter does it for example?

This mod is great! Far superior to the Camera Center mod I was using.
Only complaint is that when I center the camera with this the character is still off a little bit because the camera number range is limited to 0 as the minimum. If it go beyond that I think it would be fixed.

Great Camera mod, the only one that was working for me on the go while having a lot of option.

    Thank you.

Great mod, improved my game experience, I wish there was a feature to uninstall and install in mcm to avoid some problems

hey i know its not related to this mod, but since you have not uploaded it yet to nexus i'll ask here, on the got to bed mod, why have you not just made the sleep menu open after laying down? your way of passing time on that mod is making my game freeze sadly

EDIT: Last question no longer important. Now have two that are.

1st: How do I use the third option for fake FPS "Enable the Adjust INI feature for Camera Tweaks. Effective only when in pseudo first person view" I see the option in MCM but it doesn't do anything. I really want this to work because when I use option one or two it is on all the time (as it says it will be) and lets me look through walls. Ruins immersion and increases fps.

2nd: What exactly is SSF used for? I thought it was for the "Camera Pos Y Override" or "Pitch Down Zoom." Yet, "Pitch Down Zoom" acts the same with or without it and  "Camera Pos Y Override" I cant get to work at all.

Help form anyone would be greatly apricated.
