How did I miss this all this time. We need to have him break into a dance, after a long diatribe of how to make your character be the God of All Fallout games, with this simple trick!
Your mod works and I can get past the advertising, but he has the brown face bug. I can't seem to fix it. Do you have facegendata for Kevduit? I hope you can help, because this is ruining my experience and I am ready to uninstall him!
Hi, I am wanting to get into modding and I have a question... what software do you use? I tried to use the creation kit but it crashed when trying to load fallout4.esm. I took my problem to Reddit and discord to no avail. so using my nudle ask the modders! so is there a fix to the creation kit or some other fallout modding tools?
Kevduit wasn't very good with his powerfist, but the moment he picked up a loose board he found on the street he became an unstoppable monster. Still taking trash-tier weapons and proving they can be OP with the right attitude. The Player has almost no dialogue with Kevduit, very rarely even saying Hey when trying to start a conversation, but it almost seems like a personality trait of the NPC - he's about doing stupid and awesome things while saying what's on his mind, not having long back-and-forth talks about finding the milk of Human kindness or how another settlement needs our help. I like that he's not tied to the Player in drawing his weapon and that he heads back to the Dugout instead of a settlement when he's dismissed, he really seems to have a mind of his own and a well-defined personality that separates his behaviours from the other companions in a strange way (ex. Curie gives you stimpacks, Kevduit gives you personal space)
During some of Kevduit's longer monologues the subtitles try to get in on the joke, and as weird as this is to say about a mod that adds one of our community members ranting about Nicolas Cage to the game - it breaks my immersion at a level than I'm not very comfortable with. I'm a fan of Kevduit's hair talk, but I'd 100% prefer if the subtitles said something like (*Kevduit rants about his hair*), or (*Kevduit rants about [...]*) for his other long rambles. I would love to have a Slightly More Immersive-ish download option for the subtitles to keep the fourth-wall breaking coming from Kevduit, but I do I feel for the subtitler, though - some of those rants would be brutal to transcribe ("...Is this what radiation does to hair?"...)
The quality of the audio recordings is solid and despite the content of his conversations his voice sounds natural in the world - he's ranting about the Avengers movies and wanting coffee almost constantly, but after meeting Manta Man it seems like he could honestly be just another nutter in the wasteland lost in their own world of survival (his character reminds me a bit of John Crichton from Farscape). I'm starting to think that the raiders at Back Street Apparel might have been talking about him when they were trading stories about the guy with an invisible motorcycle throwing stones like they were grenades
Bruh I wasn't expecting you to write a senior thesis about my shitpost but thanks, I really apricate the review and I'm glad you like it, I'll send this to the man himself.
