Due to the latest NG update, the mod may not work.

I'm expecting more hotfixes to come so I won't be able to update it for a while.

    Thanks.

    -FAQ-
    Q. It's not working!
    A:
Make sure you have the Address Library installed and running the latest version of Fallout 4 with f4se_loader.exe.
    It should create a SimpleImpact.log in C:\Users\<usename>\Documents\my games\Fallout4\F4SE if everything's done correctly.

    Q: I don't like the <enter the feature you hate here>
A: If you don't like specific feature, you have three options: Changing type, customizing it, or disabling it.
Each feature has its own customization options available and can be turned off as well.
Open SimpleImpact.ini in F4SE\Plugins, then you'll see bunch of configurable options. Please read the description section for detailed explanation of each features.

    Q: Can I uninstall Tooun's mod or Elzee's mod?
A: My mod doesn't have the UI part (a.k.a Kill Tips) and the low ammo sounds. If you wish to have that feature, you'll have to keep them. I don't have any plans on adding the UI or the low ammo sounds because my mod has focus on the visual and sound feedbacks for hits and kills.

Just want to leave this here in case anyone else runs into the same issue; any kind of upscaling or framegen (dlss, fsr) will conflict with the firing effects that are enabled by default with this plugin. This will cause absurd ghosting and afterimages when firing with ADS.

Simply disabling ‘blur’ and ‘fx’ in the .ini will resolve this issue. This took me a heinous amount of time to pinpoint.

Also, just echoing the desire for mcm settings to easier compare effects in game.

Thank you!  I just got DLSS set up and was really sad to see the artifacts. Simply disabling FX did the trick.

Unfortunately, some (?) settings doesnt work, I download specifically because of the "DisableAimRecovery" feature, however it does nothing to fix it even after double-checking the .ini file

This mod is VITAL to my game!!

I use it in a different way than I think intended and wanna share incase it sounds cool to anyone else.

    Spoiler:
    Show
I disabled the on-hit sounds but kept the headshot kills and kill quotes active. Then I made sure that only "C_3" and "C_4" remained in the headshot sound folder because it's such a SICK sound. Lastly, I added a few exhale sounds from Running Breathing to the kill quotes folder with an INI cooldown of 30 seconds. This makes it so my char occassionally exhales after killing someone, like she was holding her breath for the shot or attempting to compose herself. Lastly, I also added/audacity edited this ear ringing sound effect and the better low and critical health heartbeat mod to have three variants of 'combat panic sounds' (subtle ear ringing, subtle heartbeat, subtle ear ringing with faster heartbeat) under the kill quote sounds. These happen super rarely between the brief exhales but MAN it really does add this giant feeling of combat panic, adrenaline and overall trauma. Highly recommended!

Again, thank you so much, jarari <3 You've helped me change my game so much!

Can you make it so it can play up to 3 killsounds & 3 headshot kill sounds as well? only 1 gets a bit stale, awesome mod

I just wanted to drop some simple thanks here! I'm running a heavy load order and often would find that the kill sounds from "kill tips and hit sounds" would start lagging behind the action during heavy combat sequences. Using this instead seems to have removed that "feature".

In short - It just works.
    Thank you!

Three points deducted for no mcm
I can use it because I'm smart, but others might not be able to.
    -------
After using it for a day, I must admit, this is an awesome plugin. It's a small change but it greatly enhances the gaming experience, especially with the headshot prompt and high level of customization. I've replaced the kill voice with Japanese anime voices. 10/10

Yeah, maybe put a little harshly but it's also a fair critique, MCM makes things more accessible to everyone with less experience. It's okay to admit something is beyond your understanding, I don't understand how to use it (though I haven't tried either) but that doesn't make me an idiot, there's a difference between being intelligent and knowing things. One of them just requires experience. Most people just want things to be a little more plug and play, which makes perfect sense.

Not just about know-how. For visuals and audio it helps immensely being able to cycle between options or settings in-game. Don't even know what the other options sound like.

For some reason the if [FX] Enabled=1 is causing artifacts for me (black squares around the muzzle flash/iron sights in first person) on certain weapons such as SA80 with the scope or SVT-40 sights.

If anyone figures out what is conflicting or has a fix for this please let me know.
