(= I know you said there's no plans to update, but no floor is considered shelterd (from radiation) during Rad Storm using NAC-X.

Hello. So, if someone want to use this blueprint, how to know what mods you are using ? There are some large and glass windows out there and some other pieces i don't know, where you find it --and for almost 6 years i play Fallout 4, i try many and many and more many building mods, so i know, what mods use, what pieces. That's all. Thanks.

The requirements for this are listed on the description page under 'Requirements'. All are on Nexus except for F4SE. :)

Also pay close attention to the installation and importing instructions. :)

I try to keep the requirements manageable, so most of these mods are comprehensive with many parts in each. With these I've found that you can build just about anything you can imagine. :)

I wonder what this guy is selling and where his vending machines are...

Seriously, looks like a 76 CAMP.

No idea what he might be selling, but it seems to be profitable. :)

And I've picked up some good ideas from what people are building in 76. Can't see them building on this scale though. :)

If it launches near the workbench, you need to be standing there. Spec Ilse has 3 distinct buildzones and you need to be at whatever zone the bp_ is made on for it not to shuffle the pieces

I wish I'd have taken a picture of when I tried importing from the other side of the island(as an experiment).haha Putting it as F***ed, might not be strong enough.haha Out of everywhere I tried, being close to the tug was best. And also using all the settings I mentioned for importing. :)

so, next to the boat with the generator when importing and it should work without the whole build looking like something went terribly wrong?

Yes. That's what worked for me. Plus the settings I mentioned for importing in the description. I also added a picture for reference. :)

this looks like the setting of some kind of 90's edutainment game or vhs series where kids learn about science hosted by some manner of mad scientist or radical street kid type of character. good job!

Hey, Gayle. DLed by reflex :) but apparently the mod required for Institute elevators is no longer on Nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6053

Do you know if/where the author and said mod (Craftable elevators) went to?

Craftable Institute Elevator which is https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10730 is the one I used for this. 6053 must be an old mod that's not related. There is also Craftable Institute Elevators which is 6608, but those are different.

I love this settlement, looks absolutely awesome. The only problem with floor plans like this is Bethesda's garbage sandbox ai. Damn settlers will rarely hang out in there and interact with things. 90% of the time they'll be out on the empty island, standing around, doing nothing but staring off into oblivion like they're in that movie, The Happening.

Thanks for that and yes, that's what settlers do. Fortunately, I don't normally build settlements I just enjoy building. So, settlers aren't really a problem for me. But I build just about everything else.

Now that's different. This looks really interesting, and I hope to try it out soon.

Some comments however, based on your screenshots.

You've got a great big deck there, seemingly unsupported by anything except its connection to the auditorium shell. Just from the engineering point of view, would you consider some pillars (and pipes would stand in perfectly for this) so that it doesn't look as though it's going to come crashing down any second?

This looks so modern that, to me, it's crying out for a helipad.

Thanks for your comment. I'm not really a conventional builder and usually not lore friendly, but usually what I build looks better supported. One possible answer could be that the materials used were not what they seem and not the brick and stone as it appears and possibly much lighter and easier to support.  Or maybe they've engineered new materials to allow for projects like this. :)

I've been building in fallout 4 for the past four years and have become tired of the basics like shacks, palaces, or strongholds. So, many of the builds I create aren't conventional and mostly what I try to build are things that will stimulate the imagination to show that building in fallout 4 is mostly limited to someone's creativity (engine limitations considered).

I also thought to add a helipad and I usually do, but I've plenty of other ideas to work on so after 40-50 hours I wanted to move on. If you would like to do that feel free to do so and I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with. :)

Also, if you would like to see what I've been doing all this time you can find me on facebook in the Fallout 4 Settlement Building group and Fallout 4: Commonwealth Creators (Gayle) or as GSVoyager on Steam. :)

Was trying to use some emoticons. Didn't work. haha
