Thank God for this mod. This quest is so tedious and long. First you have to get blood drawn, then find stupid cat, then retrieve said stupid cat, then listen to the old doctor complain about the kid, then follow druggie to secret vault entrance.
So after installing the mod, the computer console does show up and I was able to get the cure from Curie, but the quest didn't advance at all, I couldn't give the cure to the doctor, even with waiting or reloading, and I ended up having to go through all of the sequences you have to go through when you first enter the vault, including being approached by the boy to do the tour. I did all that, but since I already have the cure, there is no way to get the cure again from Curie to advance the quest, so I am kind of stuck.
i did not get the room, everyone still mad at me except curie. the terminal worked, free shortcut for the whole thing, but if you don't give the cure, all of them still treat you like a big disappointment. the differences between with or without this mod is "austin is alive when u have this mod on", yet everyone still treat me bad.
I have to say THANK YOU! I had done something to my game that caused me to become trapped in the secret side of vault 81. My game would just do the forever screen when I tried to leave the vault after getting the cure. This fixed the s#*! out of this mission. THANK YOU!
Thanks for this pal. Been playing again after many years and with sim settlements 2 but kept getting the pathing error with the molerats and the inevitable game that crashes on save and it its defo the secret area of vault 81 but this worked perfect. I am not new to modding and i could have done it a few ways but your provided the best solution long term. Thanks you my friend.
ok, so i was stuck with the glitch for the Hole in the Wall mission and couldnt use the console command to fix it so i turned to the modding community and THANK YOU. you completely saved my playthrough and my sanity (just got done with a 12 hour work day and about to put one of my work boots through my CPU). for those of you that have this bug: THIS MOD WILL WORK.
Ah I didn't know you could just rush it like that.. I would wait for the quest to start and then go back to that elevator opening it with console commands.. Good mod tho don't need to listen for an entire minute of them talking to start the quest lmao.
Got to think, Vault trained mechanics, NO restrictions or warnings about the door, Even if stuck - Vault trained mechanics/engineers with (assumed) state of the art tools, NEVER? At least 'Mister Adventure" should have comment after I tried the door with something about "the door has been stuck/locked for as long as he can remember" maybe, "Ya, the mech guys tried to force it, VTECH made some strong doors". With all the 'Updates' you would think this would have been fixed.
