"Let's give it a taste", loud thump as someone falls over.

You know someone (definitely not me) needs to take this idea and run with it, radioactive wine makes you wake up in a den of friendly ghouls, poison wine knocks you out and you wake up in Red Tourette's room dressed as a raider and her all suddenly friendly with you for some reason (she really should have been a follower with a mission to try to save her poor unfortunate sister and don't drink the beer haha and her faction should have been joinable).
Old pre war food stuff should give your character short lasting flatulence and a stats penalty that kind of thing.

     It's a good idea.

Sounds like someone needs to port Nukashine from 76 to 4. By the time we show up Red's sister has been dead. The raider that kidnaped her accidently killed her and had to forge letters to Red. I swear I saw a fart mod on nexus maybe I can steal err borrow it and add it to pre-war food lol

There was a fart mod, Irritable bowl syndrome but it is a constant affect so no matter were your character is he or she will periodically break wind which causes NPC to panic and draw there weapons but seemingly not know who dropped one, it's funny in a very childish sense but the novelty wears off really fast.

I think there was also another going back that added animations as well and a blast affect that knocked NPC's off there feet but that was earlier than IBS.

To be fair to Bethesda I see those notes in the brewery as a clean up of a dropped quest, I still think Red was probably originally intended to be a follower but at some point they made it so you could not join the raider faction until they brought it back, kind of in the Nuka World DLC, still funny with it's Walt Disney head in a jar joke.

I just think this mod has great potential and like what you have done, I am sure I have seen a similar mod somewhere that added inebriation affects as well a random waking up in strange places (unless it was just part of a scripted quest - maybe - I think it may have been a Skyrim mod not sure if it was Sofie that's legendary mod for that game though I may have crossed memory's here since it's years since I uninstalled Skyrim).

Hey you could have one were you drink a suspicious bottle in one of the games bars perhaps the speakeasy and make the quest levelled so it is more challenging, you wake up with your gear missing and only a nearby lead pipe down a sewer somewhere and find an old ghoul whom is a trader that has a series of quests for you, She seems to like you a LOT and you wonder just how drunk you were last night despite blackmailing you into doing her errands before she gives you back your stuff.

    Suggestion:
Rename it to Falmouth Merlot or something similarly unsuspicious.

Such small mods make the game complete. Seriously. Cool would be a patch for the mod The fridge https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13296. I am unfortunately not able to make it myself, otherwise I would not suggest it. Stay clean and healthy.

What kind of patch for the fridge? For Horizon?

At the frigde you can make ice-cold poisonous wine which is then unfortunately no longer poisonous for the player.

oh but it is with this patch! :) why the wine didn't hurt the player is cause of the food effect not the wine. The ice cold version uses the same food effect so now with the change from this patch it will hurt the player!
