If you are bothered by the default actor scaling that occurs when child npcs or settlers use furniture etc I recommend this mod to remove it. Note it also affects female size scaling for NPCs and settlers.

Thank you for uploading this mod and it seems very compatible!
But I still suggest you either close the comment section, because there will absolutely be some people trying to "teach" you that it is evil to make those AI data killable.
Or just be prepared there will be toxin comment section, well, like other two similar mods.

Gonna use it when I finish the AE, other mods changing kid's race make my npc look weird lol

I'm surprised that hasn't happened already.

True I already had to hide a troll comment so that's probably a good idea.

the children are still protected tho so only the player can kill them and not others like raiders

This mod is nice because when playing Operation Red Glare, the children are marked as hostile but cannot be killed which I find annoying. Also, they're literally going to die anyway when the Prydwen explodes.

Also, thank you for restoring some of that player agency that bethesda so very much hates.

i both love and hate this mod. i know that's weird to read, but what i love about it is that it does allow them to die and they do attack like normal raider NPC's, but i hate it because i can not rescue them, there was a skyrim mod i used back in the day that had a similar gameplay aspect, the mod allowed you to both kill the children but also allowed you to save them or spare them and send them to an orphanage, something this game doesn't have, it makes me wonder if you can turn your own settlements into orphanages or add an orphanage as the result.

you said two KC mods on the nexus have done unnecessary edits and overall they weren't well made, but what about the "raider children (and other horrors of the commonwealth)" mod, do you think that mod is well made, is it not worth downloading? i thought about downloading it but it seems like child mods are not worth downloading for fallout 4 due to how buggy they are

A Mini Nuke alone is probably heavier than a child. I can't imagine them carrying a Fatman.

I normally refrain from attacking non-hostile NPCs unless absolutely necessary, but children that behave like those scavengers that turn hostile when you approach them should appear in the game. I mean, it's only fair you retaliate if they fire at you, right?

This should work with Raider Children but I haven't tested it. I wanted to name this Mortal Youths only because really the immortality, once you see it, ruins immersion aside from whether or not you want to kill anyone. The thing is this was mainly uploaded as a fixed version of the other mods so I had to include the reference for visibility :)

Tested with the latest version of Raider Children and it works as intended (slaughtered a bunch of them [defended myself against a bunch of them] in the Lonely Chapel). Thank you very much :D
