Great Mod, would LOVE to see this in Skyrim as the guide I follow has 1450ish plugins currently. My least favorite part is the 15+ minutes setting up the mcm on a new game!

Just done a quick test with this - Started new game with my fast start mod then applied my MCM settings via this - The only thing I had to do manually was start the camping module from "Advanced Needs 76" for the hotkey to work.

Combined with a character preset and a fast start mod, this can have you on your way to Sanctuary within a 60 seconds of firing up your game.

Outstanding QOL mod for heavy MCM users. I can't believe I've only just found and downloaded it!

Either this mod or the Booster manager is having a major issue. When I load my game, there is no Save Slot for my MCM Settings. I
can create/save a new one. When I quit the game and start it up again,
    the save slot is gone.
I've uninstalled MCM, the Booster and the Settings Manager and reinstalled all 3, with a PC restart and full mod
    purge/redeployment in between.
The Booster also doesn't seem to be caching properly, because it always takes roughly 30 seconds to load up.
    Please help me.

Okay so it wasn't this mod, apparently the plugin preloader got disabled somehow and it was causing all kinds of hell.

I am having an issue where there is no option to save after changing any of my settings, not sure where the save feature is supposed to be

Hey, just wondering what you did to fix this? I have all of the things you do, including plugin preloader, but the plugin preloader is not disabled and I'm having much of the same issues (unable to save slots, booster not working at all and causing massive lag in the Mod Config menu, and right now also some settings not even saving manually outside of the settings manager). I can't figure out how to fix it at all and I haven't done anything to change my load order recently, so I really don't know why it isn't working. :(

never got this mod to work, i tried installing it in the data folder (without using Mo2) and even before exporting it shows the vanilla setting even when they are already modified, it says data is exported but nothing goes anywhere, the folder exist but there are no files there, also using the program as admin.
I don't know what can be wrong, perhaps i have too many mods installed...637 included merged patches

Which MCM version was this tested with? Did anyone get it to work with MCM version 1.39? Seems to me some of the MCM versions wont save settings.
Edit: OMFG Fo4 is case sensitive. Nothing worked because I renamed all the files to lowercase. After restoring  the files as they were packed
    everything works!!!

It says 'failed to export settings. Try reducing the number of mods' or something similar. How can I manually export my settings for backup in case something goes wrong?

You need to make sure to have installed MCM correctly before you can use this mod. This mod integrates itself to MCM and adds the settings save/load/import/export features

Will this allow me to reset any MCM mod to it's default settings?

Not directly but indirectly: You can create a slot (for example with name "Default settings") and store all settings of all your MCM menus in it before modifying any settings. Then you can use that slot like a "reset to default settings" function.

Thanks. So is the only way to set to default to reinstall each mod?

A simple re-install won't bring all settings back to default.
The MCM settings can be stored in two different locations: 1) Your Save-Game 2) Ini-Files in data\MCM\Settings.

SAFETY: Make a new slot and store all you current settings in there before you start with this.

So to get a complete Set of default settings, you need to (temporarily) remove all your data\MCM\Settings\* files. Then remove and re-install all mods which have ini-files in tha folder, so you get the default ini file again (some mods may not have a default file).

Then start a new game and create a slot where you store all default settings.

Then you can restore your data\MCM\Settings\* files and load your normal save game.
Your previous settings should be all there again and you have the default ones in the new slot. When there's no difference to the SAFETY-slot, then you have restored everything correctly.
