About this mod
When the settlers of Oberland Station were excavating, they discovered a buried spaceship which had crashed long ago. Many unanswered questioned remained - When did it crash? Who was onboard? Was it from Planet X? Word about their finding spread throughout the Commonwealth and visitors quickly arrived at Oberland Station to see for themselves.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Scrap the fence in the settlement.
- Scrap the permittable trees and tree stumps within the vanilla settlement boundaries (there should be 1 large tree remaining after scrapping).
In the Sim Settlements 2 Settings, under the Gameplay category, ensure the following are ON:
*Allow leveled plans - ON
*Designer's choice - ON
*Starting plot levels - ON
* (Optional) Junk storage requires defense - OFF (strongly suggest for any City Plan because of junk storage needs).
UPDATES
Please read before installing any of the updates!
Version 2.0 - Planet X Update for Chapter 2
The original Planet X City Plan has been updated to include Chapter 2 elements!! It has the same look and feel as the original with added Chapter 2 and overall quality improvements. Supports L0 - 7, L1 - 14, L2 - 16, L3- 17 settlers.
What's new?
- Improved balance - added additional beds where needed to match the number of available jobs.
- Added a Caravan Station at L0.
- Added Hospital and Sanitation plots.
- Changed a few plots from the original design to better fit the settlement.
- Updated the files to display the correct max population on the HUD.
- Added a few decoration items where needed.
Important Information
- ALWAYS save before building any new City Plan or update.
- If you are using the original Planet X City Plan (or any other Oberland Station City Plan), you have to build this City Plan from the City Planner's desk as a completely new plan. This update cannot be "refreshed" from an existing plan.
- If you are replacing an existing city plan with this update, scrap the existing plan using the Workshop Framework scrap feature. It is faster and more efficient. At the red workbench, select the Manage option and Scrap Settlement.
- Increase the build limit to at least 350%. At the red workbench, select the Manage option and Config Build Limits.
- If the fast travel mat is not working for you (for all levels - located on the rail tracks in front of the station house), scrap it and build a new one. This should fix the problem.
Version 1.1 (Original Planet X patch)
Corrects the max population count on the HUD display. This file will replace the original *.esl. Always save before installing any update!
In my testing, the corrected population count didn't show up immediately (it was correct after I fast traveled back to the settlement). This plan supports L0 - 6, L1- 8, L2 - 13, L3 -15 settlers.
If the fast travel mat is not working for you (for all levels - located on the porch of the station house), scrap it and build a new one. This should fix the problem.
