Excellent mod! Love it and use it constantly in the game. Having the invisible jetpack and no fall damage is such a pleasure (sure, it's cheating, but so is a Deathclaw being thrown by the game to surprise attack a low-level player!) as it makes the exploring and combat so much more versatile and exciting.
My strategy: My strategy: When I approach a new territory and spot/encounter some enemies, I use this Strongman's Jetpack Ring with No Fall Damage (aided by the Grappling Hook if needed) to fly to the top of a nearby building, so I can then drop down a bunch of Auto Spider Mines at the enemies lurking on the street below, and cackle as my spiderbots seek and destroy going kaboom on the hapless enemies. (The spider mines return to me if they didn't find any more enemies to attack). I take potshots at the fleeing enemies with my sniper rifle (headshots, baby!). I then freefall down the side of the building (landing with a superhero thump!), and loot the corpses (or what's left of them after the spiderbots exploded in their face) littered around. I whistle a merry tune as me and my spiderbots stroll forward for my next adventure, my invisible jetpack and grappling hook itching for some more agile encounters.
When I equipped the Strongman's Ring, if I'm in third person mode, my character slams the ground around him as if wearing a power armor suit when landing from a moderate-long fall. Is It the same as anyone else?
I think your Mod is great. I have played over 650 hours and I wouldn't want to be without them!
One recommendation I would like to make. Would you add a legendary slot on your rings like the "Rings of Low Maintenance" have? Thanks for the consideration.
heya great mod.. nice and easy jetpack without power armor the strongman rings are REALLY handy when doing the battle @ cambridge / quincy mod thing... been handing them out to companions to make them a little more durable( go's fast on survival + immersive damage mod ).... if i can make 1 small request... if ur doing any more updates that is, if not no worries... but a STRONGman ring for STRONG would be awesome.. and maybe one able to be equiped by dogmeat instead of welding goggles :p
neways ty for a great mod the different version are perfect so everybody can decide how much added defence they want.. if any :p

I'm not sure if a companion would know how to use the jet pack, but it would also negate fall damage. It can also be used if you just wanted the jet pack with no extra resistances.
Ok thanks. I was hoping the companions would get the ability to use the jetpack in this version of the game but maybe that is a game mechanics they have not either been able to create or are just not willing to do so.

I was thinking I might want to give some of my companions or 'special' settlers a ring in the future so can you provide item id's so we can clone these?
I tried to ID by dropping and highlighting but all I got was console refusing to provide a id code.
As a funny aside, first time I dropped the ring I was in a area with a slight slope to the ground. The ring rolled away and kept on rolling. Took me a bit of panic snatching to finally catch it. Hah.
XX00080E - Strongman's Ring XX000824 - Strongman's Jetpack Ring XX000826 - Strongman's Sidekick Jetpack Ring
You need to know the load order of the mod and place that in the XX of each item ID. NMM shows the load order on the plugins tab. You can also use the console to find it with the help command. Just use 'help strongman 0' and look for the ARMO entries. Then you can use the player.additem command. I'll add them to the readme for the next version.
You could just put the ring in a empty container hit the ~ key, click on the container and once the containers item code pops up type in inv and it will give you the item codes for the rings.
I added a jet pack ring with low resistances and no strength/carry weight. This one will also remove fall damage without modifying the game setting (take it off and you will get fall damage). Let me know how it works for you.

The IDs for the rings are:
XX00080E - Strongman's Ring
XX000824 - Strongman's Jetpack Ring
XX000826 - Strongman's Sidekick Jetpack Ring
