*NEW* Uploaded version 2.0 update to address a large economic imbalance in crafting material cost -vs- value.
The old version had a lower cost to craft than intended, and MUCH higher value. So with the help of some friends I did some research and re-balanced it to be closer to T-45 or T-51 F Power Armor in crafting cost and item value by level 100. It costs about 20% MORE to craft for the protection provided, but because of certain advantages it retains about 10% higher value, while still remaining accessible at lower levels. This was my intended target since I do not use PA and plan to use this Vault Suit as a viable replacement.
Some considerations taken into account for this rebalance: - Non-linear cost scale to mimic non-linear protection ratings - PA requires additional spending for repairs and this suit does not - This suit is much lighter than PA - PA has much better radiation resistance - Suit has lower initial protection than vanilla Vault Suit, but adds AP and Carry Weight - Suit still has a Ballistic Weave slot at level 100 - You can still wear combat armor and add linings to the suit
OLD versions are still available if you don't care about this, and the protection ratings have not changed at all. This is strictly an economic rebalance and is completely OPTIONAL.
First off, thank you for doing a great job making the Prudy Vault suit better!
I have two questions about it.
1. Will the new Prudy Vault suit statistics be retained if I am also wearing power armor? 2. Which mod removes the blurry view when working on a workbench as seen on your screenshots with a clear view?
1) This version of the Prudy suit was designed to be used without power armor. So it will be overpowered. But if under-armor stats are normally retained in power armor for your game...then yes, the stats for this suit will be as well.
2) I'm not using a mod that changes the crafting view. It may be my reshade preset, which is custom. Unless you mean the window positions, which could be crafting framework. * EDIT * Oh you mean the crafting highlight remover? This: Crafting Highlight Fix
