This post does not specifically apply to this mod. It's just good info and good load order practice.
A good general load order for weapons is:
1) Standard Weapon Mods
2) Vanilla Weapon Modifiers Mods which change damage and components, ie: Weapon Mod fixes, Immersive Reflex Sight, Equilibrium...etc.
3) Vanilla Weapon Replacers Replacers often have their own settings and have new models for the parts of the weapon. Many also replace some of the workbench modifications which go onto them. That's why they need to go after mods which affect weapons or weapon components.
While this patch has helped with the utter pervasiveness of this weapon in the Raiders' level lists, I do still feel as though it's appearing too often.
Spawning in 10 Raiders at a time, I find that more than two of them are wielding it each time. This is a little too high for me as I feel this weapon should be a little rarer than pipe weapons and double-barrel shotguns.
Any possibility of an even more reduced injection script?
It actually IS on the Double Barrel LL. More shotguns on that LL would drop the numbers. I have Gmoi's shotguns, Caravan Shotgun, Mare's Leg *maybe (the one which can be a shotgun), 1873 shotgun.... feel like I'm still missing one or two.
Cranky has a very addictive reloading animation but I kind of hate the idea of any gun being designed to be disposable after a certain level, if I like it, I would like to keep using it.
Lmao, bump! I never understood the interest/emphasis around "Late-game", "Mid-game", and "Early-game" weapons. If a gun feels good to use, I'm keeping it till the end of my playthrough.
