About this mod

GaigeStorm's Lever Action Shotgun is always in my loadout due to it's versatility and options. However, it needed some updates: Leveled List Injection, new modcols/omods/miscmods for more variety, new weapon templates, and new sound.

This is an update to GageStorm's Remington92 Lever Action shotgun.  It will now spawn in game with variety and options which won't conflict.  A new shotgun sound has also been added.

21.12.01 Update
 - Split Rails into their own attach point and away from Scopes to eliminate 12 .nifs
 - - - Eliminated the records for the now unnecessary constructible items
 - - - Eliminated the records for the now unnecessary object modifications 
 - - - Eliminated the records for the now unnecessary misc mods
 - Weapon menu and draw lag basically fixed now

Features which were already on the shotgun:
  • 5 or more receivers
  • 4 Barrel options
  • Shotgun shell rack or saddle
  • Slug Shell rack or saddle
  • 5 stock options
  • Separate Foldable Stock
  • 5 Damage Modifier options
  • Barrel Shroud

I prefer to run this with Bullet Counted Reload.

Installation:


Recommended Sounds: 
Power Lever Action (Far Harbor) - I used both files.

Change List:

  • Minor .nif edits on 3 muzzles and 3 barrels to configure Parent and Child muzzles in .nifskope.  That eliminated 6 redundant muzzles and their corresponding object modifications, craftables, and misc mods thus removed 30+ records.
  • Minor .nif edit to sawn rib to align it with the muzzle.
  • New LL Injection script created for Combat Shotguns, Legendaries, Vendors, GunSpecialty, Minutemen Random, LongGuns and Any Boss.  Raiders and Gunners get too many weapons to themselves already.
  • The combat shotgun’s nine weapon templates were created where it previously had 1.
  • Created modocols for all modifiers and integrated them into the weapon templates for more variety.
  • Modcols have the mods leveled to gradually introduce better mods.  Barrels, muzzles and sights now spawn randomly and in proper combinations.
  • Created miscmods for all the weapon mods and valued them to list in logical order in the workbench.
  • Overfolder stock now configured to spawn with proper grips, sights, and RDS which won’t clip.  This will now happen randomly.
  • Crafting Menu Name Changes:  Attach Point changed to “Overfolder Stock”.  Extras changed to “Saddle”.
  • New Shotgun sound.
  • Base Damage set to 60.
  • Spawn begin at level 9.
