Thanks bradenm650 for this its a neat way to inject difficulty and atmosphere in an instant!
For anyone who is interested i made an alternative version of this, since i think Rad Storms have huge potential for such kind of games in terms of atmosphere.
Instead of modifying the worldspace records, which have huge issues with any mod adding or modifying worldspace records, i tried to alter weather and climate records.
The sky's green, it's been that way since they dropped the bomb. The city is death, the villages a ghost town. The water is strycheline, a hundred and sixty nine thousand people have died. Say you'll love me, maybe you'll say you love me now, now that the sky's green. - darwin deez: The Bomb Song
Is there another mod that gets ride of those annoying green clumps that appear during some rad storms. The constant haze is really cool, but those snot clumps arent.
This i a great idea, I'm just putting in my vote for a version that is visual only; the world has the appearance of constant radstorms, but no rads or effects are applied to anyone. It'd mess around with gameplay less but still have that fantastic post-apocalyptic feel.
