    I give up, I can`t force this mod to work properly with Dak`s remesh, it just works. I reinstalled this mod six times in different versions, played with load order for hours, but everything I got are: missaligned scope, missaligned gas pipe (underbarrel for powder gases) and floating bolt. What I did wrong?

      Well, two things. First, make sure you're using his older remesh. Second, you're only installing the archives, make sure his plugin isn't active.

      Oh my freaking god, will you believe me, dear jkrise05, if I will say that I repeat everything the same I did yesterday and this time it works almost flawlessly? If that is not gremlin`s job or whatever you call it, I don`t have any other explanation. I still have some issues with some specific attachments like drummag and some barrels, but seems like they are added by some DLC.
      Anyway thanks for your reply and your work, waiting for your new works.

      Specifically about attachments, is it a chance that one day you will adapt your great mod for working with Dak`s attachment pack? I know that it uses newer remesh that doesn`t change magazines.

    Love the work you did here! But would 5mm be smaller than 556? Perhaps the thinner stick mag would work better for that conversion. Or a drum mag with 40, 50 or 60 rounds so its like a lighter Minigun.

    Unfortunately, every one of this author's mods I have tried does not work well with Classic Holstered Weapons System (only the scope and barrel of rifles show up on the character's back). This will keep me from using them, but not from endorsing them,  because they are otherwise really good.

      Weirdly they seem to work with the older version of Classic Holstered Weapon Systems that I'm using. When I updated it I had the same problem but reverting to the older version I had installed previously fixed the problem. The one that I use is version 1.04 for anyone who wants to know.

    Is there a version of this mod that uses Vanilla Combat Rifle animations instead of the HMAR?
    I'd love to see how this rifle works and looks with Ronald's animation replacer.

    Anyway you could update this to also work with the Attachment Pack you and Dak made? I really love this mod but there are obviously several barrel and stock attachments with the pack that just break the gun. Great work love to see your s#*! go big!

    Can I switch from your earlier 'Combat Rifle to Carbine' mod to this one on an existing save without issue? I'm at level 5 btw. Thanks jkruse05.

      In general it's inadvisable to swap mods during a play-through, but there shouldn't be any major issues with this. Any Combat Rifles already spawned into the game will probably look a little weird, but swapping the parts around should fix it. If you haven't even seen any yet you probably won't notice anything.

    Could you please make a version that would only make it so that magazines will change based on the receiver, but no other changes? (no grip or other physical or stat changes to the combat rifle)

      EDIT: Tried it out, can confirm it sadly doesn't work, the weapon won't appear on your back :(
