Thanks for all the great posts! Your feedback has been invaluable, I've taken a lot into consideration for the version 2 update. I'll try and make the updated shelter supplement rather than replace any existing ones, as well as add requested features and general ease of use improvements. I don't have a specific release date in mind, but it should be out in within a couple of months, if all goes well.
Again, thanks for all the feedback and I hope you'll enjoy the update when it comes out.
This mod would be a lot nicer if the quest actually decided to help show where the source of the explosion is, instead of forcing you to run around in the water and tall grass.
Incredibly cool. Not a fan of the Instutute - face it, they're not just slavers, but they produce slaves wholesale, and refuse to see that - but I love the asthetic.
That being said, this thing is microscopic. It's essentially a nice hotel room, not a home base. I am forceably reminded of Haven Bag every time I walk in. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing this mod by any strech; I adore portable homes. But it needs to be 3 or 4 times as big to be useful.
So, too cool to not have, too small to actually use.
Endorsed nonetheless.
Edit: Found a workaround. Endless Settlement fixes the space problem. 100% workable now. Dunno about long-term stability using both mods in tandem as of yet, but I've not run into any issues.
followers do not seem to follow inside? When using amazing followers tweaks i can get them to teleport inside but the followers do not recognize the space as a house to change outfits.
This is precisely what I have long wanted! Thank you.
My main concern was the lack of crafting workstations. I solved that by (using Place) embedding the three Institute workstations into the wall display you provided (see uploaded picture). I raised them so the work surface was above the shelf and moved them far enough back that they cleared the front wall; this had the added bonus of burying their own backs. I will cover the half-exposed tank of the chemistry lab workstation with a suitable object (again using Place).
And the door still raises and lowers, and all three workstations are fully functional.
I LOVE THIS SHELTER!!! ok so with that said it would be awesome to make more then one at a time like having 4 "shelters" available with each room being something different thats the only Downside just another mod that I always make sure I have on my list lol
I give up. Since I haven't seen any posts about this, I must be daft. What caused the explosion? I used the console to start the quest. I got to the wreck and other than a massive radiation spike and a few common items, there is nothing to be found. I even disabled the boat via console, and I see nothing there.
Using the console command should start the quest, although you'll have to set it as your active quest to see the quest markers. I'll be making the mod more user friendly in the upcoming update, so that it can be completed without having to mess around with the console. Hope this helps!
stuck on the exact same part and came here to see if anyone else was having the same issue, glad to see it's a "need to expand my search", that actually helps a ton, I'll go back to hunting too
I did the same thing! Its funny its it? In video game land it kinda needs to be explained.. But if we saw a firey smoking airplane crash 100 meters from us, we'd all be swarming around it with our iPhones drawn. :D

is it compatible with the mod that lets you subvert the institute ?

Ok, so I needed to expand my search. Never mind.
