Kittencakes... yes, the doors DESPERATELY need work... and THAT is a gross understatement!
sadly must agree with others like Kaziete, Frank Family, etc
the blanket overlay breaks immersion. random lines and details running all over... no regard for hinges/knobs/handles/risers, panels, etc. take some time to 'select' different sections and apply individual effects. it's time consuming, i know, but will produce a MUCH better door
A lot of the doors aren't necessarily in the workshop unless you have a mod for better settlements that gives you more build options. Also, did you install the files in the data\textures folder?
The major fault of this mod is that it doesn't take a door structure into consideration. You just applied overlay evenly over the whole texture without considering that different parts of the door will have a separate weathering pattern due to being in slightly different position.
Just look at the first picture - in the vanilla texture, the rust pattern in the back stops when it meets the diagonal support beam; it just doesn't go straight through uninterrupted.
In general, any part of the door that is sticking out should have a different weathering pattern on it. Take your time isolate the sticking parts and overlay a different weathering on them.
even after your update, I still can't see much of the changes - if any - in the doors, especially doors to the Museum and derelict houses etc...do you edit things like the speakeasy door in concord?
Unfortunately I am still missing some doors in the game. The original version v1.0 only had 15 doors. v1.1 has 22 doors in total. v1.2, however, only changed the mod's structure because it was downloading in an incorrect area. The only difficult thing about finding all of these doors is I'm using B.A.E. and this game has about 9 different texture pack files slam full of tons of different textures in each pack. I'm always digging through these files trying my best to find all of the doors that I can. I'll keep looking, I promise .
