Don't get me wrong, I'm just curious as to why you'd make a mod that removes the .50 Caliber Receiver from the only weapon that can be upgraded to said Receiver.
it just never made sense to me the way the round was implemented. That caliber is not for that rifle and there are plenty of anti materiel rifles in nexus. So i decided to make a mod that removes the caliber from the mod list and also downloaded some of the weapons I mentioned. Its a more immersive experience to play like that. IMO.
The Remington 700 is a staple in North American culture. Why not make it properly? Why bend the rules that define the rifle? (cutting corners in the design & build process due to budget or time limitations is the reason why)
hand made antimateriel rifle Anti materiel rifle from FNV XM50 SIMONOV PTRS the list goes on buddy...
And no real proper targets that even require that level of ammunition. Only real targets in the game that even remotely justify a .50 BMG are Vertibirds and Power Armor. However, the real issue with .50 BMG is there isn't a proper firing mechanic to fire it - every one of the rifles you list are meant to be fired from bipod/tripod - for very, very obvious reasons.
Something like a .375 H&H Magnum makes far more sense as an upgrade to the Remington 700 (ummm, Hunting Rifle). It's strong enough to take down Cape Buffalo, it's strong enough for pretty much any mutated enemy you will see in the game - without resorting to a round most often fired from an aircraft, or ring mounted in a vehicle.

It's Bugthesda after all.
(Why'd they even put this cartridge in the game only to waste it on incredibly underwhelming weapon mods for two guns?)
