Before anyone asks, yeah, I opened up the original weather in FO76Edit and used the exact same values to recreate this in FO4Edit. So all the colours and stuff are as intended.
I copied this over to the glowing sea weathers, and man imo it feels a lot cooler with the blue than that sickly green. Wandered around the sea for a few hours just admiring the weather.
your mod does not work i tryed it nuka world and commonwealththe code you gave also does not work this mod is broken or can you at lest try to help me get it to work please
What are you actually typing? "xx" shouldn't be entered. It needs to be the index in your load order. For example, Automatron's index is 01, Far Har Harbor's is 03, etc. Check with a mod installer, or FO4Edit, and get back to me.
Works perfectly for me, even running True Storms. It just replaced the green weather with blue weather (though it looks more purple in my game than the screenshots do). You have a mod conflict somewhere.
Someone else asked, and at the time I said it should probably be fine. NAC X affects only the Commonwealth, right? This mod only touches Nuka-World, so there should be no conflict.
Weather mods don't play well with other weather mods. You can definitely use both, force quantum storms to load, and i promise it will load. But that doesn't mean the mods play well together. You'll f*#@ up the skybox, clouds will be bugged, or even worse: colors get jacked up and won't look proper.
Hey, CrimsonKnight! How are ya? Damn, this fits so much with NW, I loved it. Endorsed! Also, do you plan on making a Xbox port? If not, could I get your perms to do so? Thanks again!
Do you know if this will be compatible with NAC X? I'm intrigued to use this mod but with the amount of changes that come with NAC X I'd like to avoid any big issues between the two if possible.
Would love to see a video on this mod in action, as it looks VERY exciting! Beautiful!
I would like to see if it has any known conflicts with any other mod? Rain/Thunder/Lightning would be awesome, and I think the perm effect around the plant is a good idea, if it changes intensity from time to time, or you can turn it off at the end of a quest?
Sure, I could capture a video of the ambience. It wouldn't be terribly exciting, since it's basically just a blue radstorm, but I don't see the harm in it.
Beautiful! Are there any plans for weather mod patches? I would love to use this alongside True Storms.
On the topic of quantum creature spawns- You could probably take a look at True Storm's Feral Ghoul spawns during Radstorms and see if you can copy it. There is also the Quantum creatures mod, if you want to add more than the Deathclaw and Nukalurks.
Also, I haven't been able to experience a Quantum Storm in 76 myself (my computer sucks) but from videos, it looks like they also have rain, thunder, and lightning. It would be really cool to see this mod feature complete! It definitely adds to the strangeness of the Nuka map!
Thanks! I might look into patches for other weather mods in the near future. I've only ever used one in the past, so it's not my area of expertise, but I'll brush up on the subject.
As for weather, if memory serves, 76 has two different quantum storms: one that includes rain, and another that doesn't. I opted to go for the rainless one mostly because I just don't really like rain. I think it makes the game look quite a bit worse and would interfere with the visuals of this mod, not to mention rain can cause audio lag on weaker systems. As for thunder, that's included. Lightning in radstorms and quantum storms is what creates the creepy distorted thunderclap sounds and deals rad damage. I opted to not include wind mostly because I thought the sound of strong winds got in the way of enjoying the thunder sounds. I included more radstorm lightning sounds in this custom weather, though whether or not that makes much difference is open to debate.
That's too bad on the rain, I personally love it and I think it would go nice with the color. I hope you'll reconsider, maybe as another weather type or an alternate file. Plus, from the video I've seen it mostly seemed like a drizzle or light rain- though as I said, I haven't experienced it myself so you'd probably know better.

You need to patch them
Edit: I've just posted it now! You may find it here.

I look forward to any patches or updates!
