Been waiting for a Damascus steel weapon. Was too lazy to make one myself, so I've been waiting patiently. Really enjoy this rework from Cat_woman tho. More identifiable texturing. Great work you two!

Unfortunately, it really needed a Normal Map. And your Specular Map didn't seem quite right after I made it. I made new ones that seem to look better in game.

GIMP has plugins you can download for a Normal Map filter. All it takes is some tweaking to get it to look right.
And Specular Maps I learned a very basic way from an old Quake Tutorial. lol
Not as fancy as Bethesda's but it gets the job done.
I tried inverting your Specular Map like you said. It looks a little better but the handle is still way too glossy.
Not sure how to fix that. Out of curiosity, by what method did you create a Specular Map?
