That's right, I said it, Immersive...

It was suggested I remove the image that shows exactly which items are mines and replace it with one that shows a bunch of stuff. So, I did that. The new image has a bunch of random items in it, plus the mines. Which is a mine and which is a normal item, I only know...well and those who look at the forum topic I created to list the models used.

Description:

IIM is a simple mod to replace, or rather change the in game appearance of the six default landmines.

I basically thought being able to see a landmine (glowing lights all over them) and knowing exactly what to look for, was boring and unrealistic. If it were me, I would make mines that look like everyday, common and often needed, or required items. In step IIM.

As you can see from the image, I have selected a number of items I feel are common and desirable for crafting, and so forth. So now instead of running through a room blindly snatching up everything for later use, you may have to take a moment here and there to be sure you're not going to explode instead.

I added a forum topic for the list of which models the mines were changed too. If you do not want to know and would rather keep the immersion (there's that word again) intact, do not look at the topic. However, if you hate surprises, take a look see.

Technical:

All this mod does, is replace the vanilla models of the six landmines with models of other common items.
The landmines work exactly the same.

This does not effect anything else in game and only changes the landmines. So, there will be items and landmines that look the exact same, one time you may find a normal item, but another time, that same looking item just might be a mine and blow the hell out of everything. Sneaky, yes?

Made with FO4Edit.

Compatibility:

Will not work with any mod that does the same thing. Basically, if another mod changes the models or edits the same fields I changed, they will conflict. Otherwise, you're all good.

Will work with mods that change mine damage, explosion size, radius and so on.

Install/Uninstall:

Use NMM, duh.

Extra:

Let me know if there are any issues with anything. I will do what I can to help or fix what is broken.
