Thanks for this! I'm sort of an animal loving hippie and it always bothered me having to see Dogmeat's downed animation, and this fixes it perfectly without cheating.
Killing everyone in sight???? Are we playing a different game? Hatred is a game with that purpose... I don't think Fallout 4 is anywhere near the same.
The pacifist run is a little blurry. It is technically true that you can finish the main plot without killing anything, as a matter of fact, you don't have to kill anything at all. You are still responsible for indirect killing though, having your companions doing the dirty work... a task which is much harder, I assume, than one might think.
now i can have a chuckle at dogmeat lounging nonchalant in the middle of that giant pack of feral ghouls he idiotically ran directly at and aggro'ed just because I looked in their general direction

hmm.. this is interesting how many other anims does dogmeat have? any that show him sleeping or being curled up or so..? if he has, then i won't be having a moment where he's like ' oh i'm just gonna relax and watch you get pounded :3 '
