   Nice mod idea and good explanation. 
   Would it be possible to alter Edwards spawn location?
   
   I always thought it didn't make sense for him to spawn in diamond city because he's a ghoul, and ghouls aren't allowed there.

      I am looking a mod to change his location too... doesnt make any sense his presence in Diamond City.

      He not only inexplicably appears in Diamond City, but while there he can also spawn on the Colonial Taphouse of all places. Like, really, Bethesda?

   On PC, the best way to prevent this annoying guy chasing you around is to use the console and freeze him in place temporarily with the 'tai' command. You can unfreeze him with the same command at any time.

   So glad I found this.  I don't like to start this quest until later in a playthrough in the first place, so now I don't have to worry about having it hanging in my load order for a long time, or having Edward nag at me immediately.
