I don't have custom camera settings! Then please don't use this mod or your camera won't behave correctly after visiting a barber/surgergy until restarting the game.
Fixed a problem with the compiler, which resulted in incorrect script files (leaving surgery resulted in a camera error). All scripts are now redone from vanilla and are safe to use.
Not an issue with this mod, but a note for other people who use this with Custom Camera (which I imagine is most people):
In the Custom Camera MCM, there is a setting for the 'minimum distance' the camera can be to the player. When I had this setting at 40, the barber camera would be so zoomed in that the character disappeared.
Increasing that minimum distance setting fixed this. I personally changed it to 60 and that works, so the sweet spot is somewhere between 40 and 60.
(I don't remember what the default for that setting is, it's very likely I decreased it to 40 in the first place.)
I have that bug when camera looks at player's back, so I downloaded this mod and this mod causing issue that I described. And that bug isn't happening only if you are using custom settings, it also happens with default camera.
Do you save and reload while on barber chair/surgery? This causes that the camera can't be set correctly after leaving barber/surgery and can only be fixed by closing the game and start it then again.
Please make sure that bApplyCameraNodeAnimations=0 is under the [Camera] section in either your fallout4.ini or fallout4custom.ini. This fix is not voodoo magic and only works/changes (with) this setting. If it is not present, the described error will occur.
Hi first off, Thank you for this great mod! I read your instructions, but my INI files (Fallout4.ini & Fallout4customs.ini) only have the following in the [Camera] section:
[Camera] fMouseWheelZoomSpeed=3.00
That's it. There's no bApplyCameraNodeAnimations. I'm going to try it anyway because it might take a bit to get back to me, but I don't see that line anywhere WITHOUT the mod being installed. Thanks again!
If you don't have this line (or a mod that sets custom camera settings) than you shouldn't use the barber fix. It will make your camera buggy after leaving the barber (and you need to quit the game and reload to fix this issue then).

Edit: Still works with next-gen.
