   Thanks for the renames. I just think a name like "Dogmeat" is a disrespectful nickname, and he deserves better! He's such a GOOD BOY!

      Also, Mama Murphy is wrong because she's always stoned out of her gourd. Nick Valentine probably heard "Dogmeat" 2nd hand because of her.

   thanks this works well with my mod that changes dogmeat into a human girl , ill use the Kitty one and give her a french maid outfit

      Haha that's so wrong I love it :D You may have to learn his name from Mamma Murphy in order to have her called Kitty though, because if it uses an other base data in the .esp for dogmeat it may not be changed (I think you will have to load this mod before the other one). But the learnt name should overwrite the base name and it should work fine.
      
      And don't forget to take this mod as well : Dogmeat - Both Genders possible.
      (Calling her "hey boy" could be kinda akward haha).

      i also assigned her to a dancing  pole in her house its great , if you want i can upload a pic later and thanks for the mod i never seen that one before downloading now lol
