Welcome. Still looks really good. Was wracking my brain as for some reason I swore the satchels only showed from a medium vs heavy archetype as I haven't dipped into Far Harbor much at all. But really does make a world of difference.
I thought about adding a compatible version, however, I don't know how to make a fix for the boots myself, so I'd need access and permission to use Neagoe's (Marine Armor Boots Fix Author's) assets and release them!
I can contact the Author to ask for permission, respectfully, so it is possible. :)
So the mod doesn't work. The only mod that I see may conflict is Legendary modifications or Ballistic weaver although I see it as very unlikely since neither affect models at all. I dont have AWKCR or ECO or any other mod like that, nor have any other mod modifying the armor appearance so if anyone got any insight on how to fix, please share. I really hate the clipping this freaking pouches cause.
Have you enabled modding with loose files by following the Nexus Mods wiki tutorial? That's the only solution I can think of, otherwise it could be a conflict related to your mod manager.
Im no expert in modding, I usually just run all my mods through vortex and it works fine, I did however the line changes in "Fallout4Custom.ini" and installed the mod manually, yet It still doesn't work. Am I missing something? I really can't find any more information on how loose files work.
Can't find the mod that conflicts with this. I thought it was Marine Armour Expanded (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14448/) but even after disabling it and removing it, the side pouches still show up on the marine legs. Any insight on this?
Thanks for the reply! And I wasn’t before, but I tried it again with the Assault variant, only. Same problem, I even uninstalled the Marine Armor Expanded mods and still same result. There is no “conflicting files” in my Vortex either so I can’t find the exact conflict. Just off the top of my head I think it might be VIS/VIS-G, UCO, or AWKCR (maybe) - hope this helps moving forward. Those side pouches are so annoying lmao
Actually, most likely it's UCO or AWKCR. In my end, those mods always conflicted with my clothing replacers, to the point I just don't use them while testing my mods anymore. They seem to include their own meshes that always make the items use the original, vanilla meshes, But I'm not too sure!
I saw the Reddit post. the "front" leg pouches cannot be removed, sadly. If I did that, it would just be a missing, invisible mesh area. Trust me, I actually tried! However, I'll check if this is the case with the arm and torso pouches.
Due to this mod I realized this armor even exists in game, goes to show how much this game has. I have yet to ever visit Far Harbor or Nuka World, makes me really wonder how much I really am missing that I would like.
