Good evening. I haven't played FO4 yet, building my 1st mod setup and am wanting to included this mod. Is there any way to get him to equip the Marine armor from Far Harbor? I tried using show inventory and equip commands and using the regular method and neither worked. Im kinda silly and like to have matching outfits with my companions , nick being my favorite companion, and marine armor being my favorite armor, if anyone can find a way to do this i would be very grateful!
your "independent" version still has the notice when going to download that it requires Armorsmith extended.
might want to remove that.
also... does this new version allow for swapping of outfits now?

seriously, this is important. you need to add the ability to swap outfits, not just armor. otherwise this doesn't actually make him just like all the other humanoid npc companions.
I like to put sunglasses on my companions, for example.
can't do that with Nick, still.
also, this would fix the issue people are having with getting Nick's hat back when they swap it with a helmet.
I have had a lot of issues lately IRL, which are far more important than having me doing every single outfit in the game to be wearable when the main job of this mod was to let you have the armors on him, and im also a fan of lore friendiness. There is a mod out there that does that for you now anyway.
Next time, show a bit of respect, or mod the game out for yourself if you really are that desperate.

I was always the kind of person that if a bully tried to bully me, i would beat him down first. And tbh, i havent seen arrogance in my previous answer, but more of an annoyed tone.
Yep I agree, this guy is just stating the obvious that we need to be able to outfit nick fully. The OP is having a bad real life situation and blew a bubble, not good response! I'm sure many people appreciate your work, you should just accept criticism/suggestions for what it is and not get upset.
PS. I will endorse this mod once Amoveve gets a chance to update it with full outfit management (could the trenchcoat be modded to go over armor? that would be EPIC!)

I'm having trouble getting Nick to equip any armor over his duster. Every time I try to put something on him he goes naked. I've tried with various types of armor and nothing is working. Am I missing something? Should this mod load in a particular spot? I use Loot for my load order, so I don't think that would be the problem.

It shows Nick wearing a Combat Armour chest piece, but when I downloaded it, the chest piece is the only type of armour the mod doesn't let him wear.
