I like this idea very much esp if you're playing Survival but it appears the mod is confusing and isn't well executed. There's also no compability patches with other more commonly used construction mods
I am using the hardcore version. I have not seen any objects spawn as shipments with regular vendors. The settler vendors will sometimes have 2-3 blueprints, usually mattress blueprints, but none of the normal vendors. This makes the early game incredibly difficult as blueprints are the only way one can build a water pump or generator, regardless of tools, resources or perks. I have had to wait weeks in game just to get two water pump blueprints. The generator blueprints seem to be more rare and very expensive.
The blueprints might work better if they are like F76 schmatics, where you only need it one time to unlock the item, but using Hardcore Settlement Building one would still need the right tools and resources. You could still have building kits that work like the current blueprints, like a generator or water pump kit that does not need additional resources that is consumed when used.
think the idea is great, I would suggest a better explanation about the mod on the description page, example: works with objects added by other mods or only vanilla workshop items? congrats
only vanilla objects because I edited the recipes manually. My original idea was to do a random time skip (between a time interval depending on the structure size) every time you build something but i couldn't find a way to do that
