The best micro-story fix, alongside that friendly grieving raider mod. Speaking of, could you make that raider recruitable? The one mourning a dead raider on the railway near Drumlin Diner?

Any chance that you could restore a cut Random Encounter involving the player character and Preston Garvey running across a former Minuteman (I think his name is Ben or Garrison and I think he was also a survivor of the Quincy Massacre) and requiting him to a settlement?

Yes, Ben Gibson. I'll see what I can do.

      Thank you.

Also, about this mod, are the Random Encounters repeatable or do they only happen once?

This both of these are repeatable encounters. Sometimes it might happen only once a playthrough other times more. One time I had the water one three times and the radaway twice.

It's cut content, that's why you've never run across him before.

Ok, what a wonderful little mod.

I always thought there should be something more to that.

    thanks for the work.

Are these still random encounters? And if so, are they repeatable?

Started a new play through, out wandering and scavenging, came across the rad poisoned settler.  Was very nice to be able to recruit them for my new Sanctuary settlement.  Thank you for this.

Endorsed.  I was always baffled that these encounters were not recruit able in the base game.

I love all your recruitment mods - it's nice to turn all of these one-off characters into useful NPCs (and it's way more interesting than just placing a radio beacon and making nameless settlers spawn XD). I do have to ask, though, because they're my favourite random encounter; are Kat and Gus on your list to be made recruitable? :))

Since you are making all these recruitment mods, wouldn't it be a good idea to try and recruit those three(?) malfunctioning Assaultrons that call you pretty boy or something like that? To be honest, I've never, ever had this random encounter happen to me, not even once despite having started the game many, many times, I just read about it on the Fallout 4 wiki. Probably not a great idea to have three crazy robots in a settlement, though.

The assaultron encounter does not exist in the game (no voice files, FormIDs...), someone just made it up.

But maybe I'll create a random encounter quest for them.. Thanks for the suggestion.:)

I always thought there was something fishy with that, seeing as it never ocurred in any of my multiple playthroughs. Why would someone make that up?

I don't know but it certainly doesn't exist in the game files and it can't be found in the Vault Dweller's Survival Guide either. As for cut content, the developers left cut random enounters (such as the "Kellogg nightmare") in the game.
