About this mod

Adds Female guards and more varied Males to diamond city inside and out. Guards inside the city have names.
Uploaded for testing to make sure the basics work before I spend a unholy amount of hours with speech and NPC looks
Also makes them strong (added due to requests)

Did you realise the Great Green Jewel of the Commonwealth is patrolled by the same two guards both in and out of the city??
They are so very worried about Synths but never even realised or cared that all their guards are clones.
(Well except Danny on the gate)

So I decided to make some more of them.
Since all the clone guards are white males I decided to give them a bit of variety

Then I thought why are there no women?
So I added some of them as well

Lastly I decided to give the guards inside the walls names
(Decided not to give EXT guards names as they do tend to die a lot and would have kept coming back to life (or cloned)

Oh and I removed the helmets from the outfit. No point having variety if everyone is still hidden behind a helmet
Okay this a work in progress that I need testing before I do more. Adding Females to groups that only have male voices is always a problem and I still haven't got the hang of this artificial voice thing to add the female voices.

I think I have solved the Kyle situation by creating a new male template to ensure the two guards involved are male but I'm a novice modder (modded for myself for years but this is only the second time I've tried to clean up and make a mod that could be uploaded) and in my experience just because it's worked in over 20 tests of completely new start games doesn't mean anything.

Version 1.2
I've been requested to make the guards a bit stronger which I agree with so now they are. (see bottom for full details)
New optional files for headwear
one is a 50% chance of either a baseball cap, helmet or open helmet or 50% nothing
The other is a 75% chance of baseball cap, helmet or open helmet or 25% nothing
All Options include the main mod - You only have to download one (Main mod not required if you download an optional they work on their own)
If you want to change versions just replace old esp with the one you want.
All optional versions as well as future versions and updates will use the stronger guards version.

KNOWN PROBLEMS
- Women can't give diamond city guard specific lines. If subtitles are on they will say them but with no voices.
-You may think male voices don't fit their ethnicity but in truth the two male voices are pretty generic and in my eyes after two hundred years of isolation the voices could fit anyone.
(Kind of making excuses now so that I don't have to try and do more sound file work)
(Oh and file size. Yes I'm doing it for file size)

Please don't complain about certain guards looks. This is a future issue once I know it works. My Original personal mod was based upon a lot of dependencies which I've removed for this version so that anyone can play on it. Mainly I just changed hair to vanilla
The Pictures are from my version and while most guards look fine in vanilla some need a bit of work which I promise to do once I know if I got any bugs.

If people want I will upload my own dependency version but not until I know it's bug free.

PS I keep taking about bugs. I used my own version of this for many years without a problem. I just know from experience that what works in one persons game doesn't mean problems can't arise in someone else's and I'd like to try to fix such things now.

FUTURE
If this works for others, how it works for me, then the future is simple

Easy - improve look of characters
Easy - Upload option files for better hair and maybe a looksmenu version
Not easy (for me anyway) - Artificially create female voices to speak the full diamond city security lines

CONFLICTS
Anything that edits 
-Diamond city guards - will conflict (not Sullivan I didn't touch him as he is a named NPC and other mods do it)
-The Diamond city guard outfit - Will conflict (They may get masks back depending on load order)
- Inventory and guns - Will NOT conflict (I have not touched the inventory for this very reason)
The stronger version changes the weapons option to my own, it wont conflict but if you have a mod that adds weapons they wont show up on the guards even if you place it below mine as that level list in their inventory is replaced by my own.

MAKING THE GUARDS STRONGER

Upped agility, endurance and strength stats a bit
adds level 1 weapons perks (I know I added ones for weapons they don't currently use as well. I did this in case I change the weapons list again)
Adds level 1 life giver and refactor perks
Adds level 3 toughness perk
I was requested to give the guards better weapons, combat rifles where suggested, but there is a problem with that. DC Guards are a minimum of LV20 this means if one dies when you first encounter them fighting super mutants you'd be able to just pick up a combat rifle regardless of your level. Although I'm sure people that have played on this for years wouldn't care I can't allow something like that to happen. So I've made my own weapons list for the guards. They will still use pipe guns until level 21 to prevent people getting good guns too early. They will then change to shotguns till level 25 and then will get combat rifles.
