Hello, you who use snappy house kit and who know how to make mods can you add wallpaper textures for wall and window formats? The choice is limited in the snappy house kit mod.
i love this mod it went well with my settlement, by the way do i need to use the water from SOE or built your own pool mod that's what i wanted to ask. but above all else great mod.
One thing the settlers and companion have difficulty going on the deck parts or they are just stand there while on them. Could it be related to NVmesh of the parts?
Finally, the problem was a conflict with 2 other mods I had installed affecting the same cell. The Settlers are now walking normally on the deck tiles.
I also noticed that the pool side walls needs to be snapped tight with the deck floor (don't leave any gap) for the settlers to be able to get off the deck. If you snap it with a gap, the npc's won't be able to walk out of the deck.
I've always used Settlement Objects Extended to create pools which luckily has snapping water meshes that act as real water in game. However the pool kit in SOE is extremely limited in terms of kit pieces and it sounds like you have a lot more kit pieces to play with. You might want to look into adding whatever snap points SOE uses for their water planes to add to your kit so that people can mix and match with both mods and get the best of both mods as a result. Thanks for this! I'll add it to my list for when I'm playing again.
Oh for the stairs you can make the texture double sided by checking the box for that in the material file for it. You may need to add a custom material file to those specific mesh pieces so it doesn't affect other pool parts you don't want double sided.
Also if you're a mesh creator there's a bathtub water plane in game that you can look at for figuring out how to create your own water planes that are just a thin flat mesh in workshop mode that turn into water when placed. It's in Meshes/Water/TroughBathWater.nif. You might possibly with some clever Nifskope hacking take an existing flat square mesh and convert it to water, not sure if that's doable or not as I've never done it though I have converted that particular water plane to look like dirt for a bathtub planter.
I typed "help water 4 acti". Pick one of the ones almost at the top 16689 or something like that. I typed "spawn 16689 1" in console to add the water You have to press "insert" to activate extra objects in Place Everywhere. If you use Place Everywhere, you need to activate Extra Objects with Insert (INS) Now point on the big bottom piece press "0" (zero) Point on the water should actually say water on the screen press "9" Now the water is in the same position as the bottom piece If you walk outside the pool, you can find the edges of the water - quite a big tile Use numpad up to raise You can also use Place Everywhere to scale the water down to a more reasonable size You probably have to mess around a bit before you get the hang of it
oh no, you posted that horribly written instruction I wrote on discord hehe :)
I'll try to write a better one here
I used "help water 4 acti"
gives you a long list of water Page Up and select som of those that are almost at the maybe 5-10 from the very top. You can try different ones as there are some colour variations.
"spawn xxxxx 1" - xxxxx being the ID of the water you choose
if you don't like it, click on it and type
disable markfordelete
if you like it we can move on to the next step I highly recommend using Place Everywhere for this. Although you can use console commands like getangle/setangle and getpos/setpos to maneuver it into place
The easiest way would be to place a floor tile or something exactly where you want your water to be. so let's say you place it in the center of the pool and at the height you want your water to be
Now use Place Everywhere to copy it 's position "+" by default delete it - PE still remember it's position move over to the water which is probably in a weird spot at a weird angle. Press Insert (Ins) key - this activates Extra Objects in PE. Now you see that when you point at the water- the name comes up. Paste the position you have stored using "0" by default
Now the water should be in the same position as that floor tile we removed earlier. Use the numpad keys to fine tune the water. You can scale and move it to fit better.

I did not not think about it, but I will look into navmeshing.

Watching closely.
